Absolutely nothing. I just find it hilariously ironic that the city which America used like the Alamo against terrorism is celebrating the Chinese birthday.
How come we never hear of America celebrating the birthday of other countries? I, myself, would love to see some good ol' celebration of the Ukraine! Maybe Japan? Perhaps even a united Vietnam!

Why not fly the Chinese flag over the top of the Empire State building while we're at it? After all, our over-exuberant, extremely zealous endeavor to suck up to China should not only be portrayed at night! Let the Chinese colors shine and the Chinese flag fly high and bright in the same city that 9/11 happened!
China, 9/11, Alamo, Ukraine, Japan, Vietnam
What is this shit you're posting?

He's being sarcastic.
Wat. You people need to stop overreacting. They're not celebrating communism, they're celebrating China. Title very misleading.
comonism is bad my dad sadi so
thanks for the cheap yellow workers china
That thing called freedom of speech, it doesn't mean shit when it comes to things you don't agree with...
Actually, it doesn't mean shit in any instances where the government isn't the one suppressing free speech.
The First Amendment states that U.S. fed cannot pass a law mucking up freedom of speech, among other things. It does not say that anyone else who wants to censor you or discriminate against you based on what you say can't. That's why you can get fired by your boss for insulting him on your Twitter.
I agree, China is the thing that keeps the economy going. The U.S doesn't want to get on bad terms with China if there is a time of major crisis.
What people fail to realize is that we also supply China with something; the raw resources to actually keep it's accelerated growth.
We have a major embargo, the United States will have a couple years of zero or slightly negative growth, but China would basically run out of coal, oil, and other resources.
Why would they do that?
They're all capitalist businessmen men, so wouldn't they hate the whole ideal communism is based on?
Can you imagine the power those asians would have if they went 100% capitalist....
This is basically America keeping China sweet during a hard economic time

I know that. It wasn't the point. You missed the point obviously.
we're sucking up to them or what
Nothing's wrong with Communism, but it does seem odd that America went to great lengths to celebrate China.
Why not the tower over in Seattle?
Damnit! It's the Space Needle, not "the tower in Seattle". It's the big landmark of Seattle, along with Microsoft and the Original Starbucks.

Economic Acquaintances. Allies, would be a very wrong word to describe our relationship...
"Hey guys we are billions of dollars in debt and in the biggest recession since the 1920's, what do we do?"
"Replace all of the lightbulbs on the Empire State Building."
"You are fucking brilliant sir have my children and my wife."
"Gladly."
Economic Acquaintances. Allies, would be a very wrong word to describe our relationship...
Dead wrong.
And China isn't that communist as people may think, it's capitalistic as hell...
What country is actually only one government style (forgot the real term)?
Dead wrong.
How so? In the 1970's, Richard Nixon signed an agreement to open free trade ports between China and United States of America. Not an alliance.
ask any american why it's coloured that way and they'd say something like "FOR THE MCDONALDS?"

You are mistaking New York for the deep south.
