1. Most of the people here complaining about the parades probably have never seen one or been to one. 2. The media is ABSOLUTELY AND UTTERLY bombarded with images of the straight orientation. Commercials, television shows, movies, etc. Yet for some reason that is okay, but when gays want to represent their sexuality they are harassed/told they should keep it to themselves. I don't think I've ever seen two guys kiss on television, but I can see straight couples kissing/doing it every single day, multiple times a day, on TV.
