Even better is people voted to leave purely as they thought that the EU was stealing our NHS funds.

Cuts to education and social welfare, leave the disabled and elderly on the streets while encouraging gang activity and such due to lack of opportunities.

We string up the Tories responsible and take back control from them. As I said, maybe the only way they'll start listening is if we make them.

USA 2.0, same problems on a smaller scale and with a funny accent
Don't know why you're going 20 extra miles to the next one, Royal Preston is only 12.7 miles away from Chorley.
Also, Chorley was not closed down due to budget cuts. It was closed down because of incompetent management absolutely fucking up the staff rotas
I'm from Chorley of course I'm going to say 20 miles. Closing it down should never have been an option, it should have been just been fixed.
They slowly stopped doing most procedures at my local hospital I reckon in a few years they will just close it down its got norovirus pretty much all the time anyway
They really want preston to be the only hospital for most of northwest
Fuck this is all so horrifying. The US has a choice between Clinton and Trump and here we are with a choice between our own Darth Vader vs a fucking Ewok. I don't want to vote Tory when their cabinet is a bunch of private healthcare recipients with chauffeurs cutting public services with no regard for the danger to the fabric of the country, but I don't want to vote Labour because their reasonable economics come with a flip-flopping pacifist who would destroy my career simply by way of his opinion of the standing military. I'm stuck praying that Tim Farron actually starts doing something before the GE and gives me something worthwhile to vote for.

Basically this. In the past I've always had Labour to fall back on, but Corbyn is just too much of an out of touch idiot and - in my opinion - an actual security risk.

Despite Corbyn's flaws I think the media has gone out of its way to exaggerate them. If he were elected I truly doubt he'd go as far as people claim, a lot of it's just stated opinion. I'd take him over the two faced lies, betrayals and bootstomping on the working class that the Conservatives would serve up. A lesser evil.
Yeah he's not going to do any of that, I'm pretty sure. Ideally, as in, in an ideal world where it's not necessary, he would like to completely abolish the military. Most of the crazy things the media has said he wants to do, it's usually seemed pretty clear to me that's how he would ideally want things to be, not what he would ever actually do.
Please get your health system under control, you don't want it to even get close to what it's like in the US, with our very expensive health insurance that will soon be unaffordable to the majority of people. Fuck, mine doubled this year.
starve the beast, STARVE THE BEAST
only good can come of this!
I'm from Chorley of course I'm going to say 20 miles. Closing it down should never have been an option, it should have been just been fixed.
Dunno why you'd say 20 miles, it's closer to ten. It's a bit difficult to fix such a colossal fuck-up while maintaining service, but outright scrapping it should never have been an option.

I'll never understand this self-destructive tripe. Calling for your own ability to have a voice to be taken away. Government is supposed to be representative of the best interests of the people. If you're against corruption, that's one thing. But calling for your own representation and services to be taken away so someone can pin you to the ground and make you squeal where you have no recourse? If people want anarchy they should row themselves to Liberia and leave those of us who don't want to suffer a hellish societal collapse alone.

But this is not an ideal world. And what is ironic is that has supported - or at the very least, refused to condemn - the type of people who make it an unideal world (i.e. the IRA).
NATO is needed, as is a PM who is able to display and maintain a responsible stance towards domestic and international security.
Yeah Chorley, they say it's coming back but I don't think it will, it's all been changed inside. They're closing the emergency doctors in Euxton too
I am doubtful it'll return also. I don't live there anymore but my parents still do (grew up in an estate near the hospital) and it's a shame to see a vital A&E for the area close.
Seeming as my mum has a brain condition I'm worried what would happen if she did suddenly need emergency care. She'd have to somehow get all the way to Preston :/
