I really don't see why everyone and their mom is on the Nickelback-hatin' bandwagon. Sure, they're no musical geniuses but they do have some actually good songs. It helps to think of them as the generic PEWPEW action movies(The Expendables for example) converted to music. They sure as fuck aren't ~deep and artistic~, that's because they're not even supposed to have any kind of deeper meaning.

There's not even any real effort put into making the music, if there were they wouldn't have been shat on so much.

no fuck your bandwagon, nickelback is terrible. they steal the same tired 90's white dude singing about angst shit and just reframe it using modern-production. the songs are lazy and badly written, the guitars sound like wet farts, the singer needs to stop pretending that he has a gruff voice, and the lyrics should actually be about something other than bullshit nobody cares about why the fuck would you even listen to it? no-one could be that masochistic. stop letting this terrible music infect my ears.

Why is this news? and I would never go out of my way to listen to NB, nor can i name any of their songs other than that one for the spider man film. But last time i heard their music i don't ever recall being overcome with a raging hatred of what was being played. They sounded pretty generic and certainly not memorable. But their music was far from terrible, it was not great either it was just OK. You guys make them sound like hellspawn or something, I personally would rather listen to NB over 75% of 'Music' in the top 50 for that last 10 years or so.

I think I'm entitled to say that I think Nickelback sucks ass and puts even less effort in their songwriting than Dragonforce considering I unfortunately grew up with their albums.
