I'm thinking this thread wasn't the response Lamar was expecting with his little title.
well, likely a group stupid enough to think white people are 3rd class citizens in the modern world.
aka no one. what is your point exactly?
how is that ironic do you know what irony means
i don't have my dictionary on hand please educate me
I'm thinking this thread wasn't the response Lamar was expecting with his little title.
No, it was exactly the response he was expecting - he's done this time after time with the same result.
I'm thinking this thread wasn't the response Lamar was expecting with his little title.
it probably was he's probably made about 100 passive-racist threads concerning the trayvon martin thing and i'm sure he's been called out in most of them
I'm thinking this thread wasn't the response Lamar was expecting with his little title.
This thread is the forum equivalent of overplaying ones hand.
i don't have my dictionary on hand please educate me
why are you posting? you come into the thread to call something ironic, then wait no i wasn't talking about you! and now please educate me. why don't you make a proper post?
i don't have my dictionary on hand please educate me
generally when youre incapable of properly using a word as simple as "irony" you arent really in a position to be snarky and sassy
aka no one. what is your point exactly?
no one?.... as I've already stated, there are A LOT of people who believe that. the point is that the perception of being the victim of racism is not something exclusive to blacks, so the proposed distinction between the actions of different groups isn't really there.
generally when youre incapable of properly using a word as simple as "irony" you arent really in a position to be snarky and sassy
i'm sorry, i can't speak english very well my mother dumps me in front of a violent video game for a few hours while she goes to TGIF and has sex with a racial minority i don't have much of an education as you can see
no one?.... as I've already stated, there are A LOT of people who believe that. the point is that the perception of being the victim of racism is not something exclusive to blacks, so the proposed distinction between the actions of different groups isn't really there.
except the difference is, the perception of blacks being victims is a very real one whereas when white people think they're victims it's generally just racism
i don't have my dictionary on hand please educate me
The use of words expressing something other than their literal intention, now that is irony.
The use of words expressing something other than their literal intention, now that is irony.
thank you
except the difference is, the perception of blacks being victims is a very real one whereas when white people think they're victims it's generally just racism
uuh, no. that's not even what you originally implied. you were saying it's different because their actions were inspired by ''what they perceive as institutionalized racial injustice''. there is absolutely no distinction there. whether one is true or not is completely irrelevant, what you perceive is what you understand to be reality. by all means, feel free to criticize the stupidity behind thinking whites are treated unfairly, but there is no argument to be made for the moral difference because there is none.

[editline]8th September 2013[/editline] i mean you're right as in violence is inexcusable really

The thing about the trayvon case that flies over most people's heads is that it's not black or white (no pun intended). It's a massive moral grey area that involves a lot of factors and with faults on both Zimmerman and Martin's sides. To absolve one party of guilt is to grossly oversimplify the incident. Having no right or wrong answer doesn't mean debate is unproductive or unenlightening, it just means that it's just debate for debate's sake rather than trying to find a guilty party in the mess of factors. I don't agree with the 'justice for trayvon' people, I don't agree with the people with a zimmerman hardon on this board, but I can respect the right for both groups to believe what they want as long as they don't demean, insult and put words in the mouth of the other

It was a shitty title and it should have been Ignored, reported and dealt with by mods and in PM's. Looking back at the OP does the attacker sound very mentally unstable to anyone else? All together he attacked 3 people and challenged 2 cops whilst ranting about whites, this might be a mental health debate thread rather than a racism one for once.
posting on-topic for a moment for an update, the man has been declared brain dead.

No doubt that this was a racially motivated attack, but how can we be for certain that this was in response to the Martin case? (I see no mention of Martin in the article) I wouldn't be surprised if it was IMO, but regardless this is a senseless and ignorant attack. I just don't understand what causes people to commit such heinous attacks against our common man. Like who the fuck just wakes up and goes "I'm going to punch every white man I see!" The man is clearly deranged or one angry individual.
posting on-topic for a moment for an update, the man has been declared brain dead.
ffs Hammurabi's code, bring it back I tells ya.
posting on-topic for a moment for an update, the man has been declared brain dead.
Sad. I have been banned before for saying this, but allot more black people are racist than white people in America, shit like this shows it.
;42115345']Sad. I have been banned before for saying this, but allot more black people are racist than white people in America, shit like this shows it.
Hard to prove and it's bad to generalize. Racists are everywhere, and they're all equally dumb.
man at least you showed your true colors that post though
Showed my true colors? By saying that more black people are racist than white people? Explain please... [editline]7th September 2013[/editline]
Hard to prove and it's bad to generalize. Racists are everywhere, and they're all equally dumb.
It's just from my perception more than anything, go into any inner city neighborhood and you get "cracker" and "racist" thrown at you if your white. Allot of poorer black people seriously believe anyone who is white is evil and racist.
;42115345']Sad. I have been banned before for saying this, but allot more black people are racist than white people in America, shit like this shows it.
1) there is no way to prove that at all unless you believe that all black people share the same mind. 2)Why would you post that if you been banned for it before.

This stuff happens anyway, but now they have an excuse.
;42115345']Sad. I have been banned before for saying this, but allot more black people are racist than white people in America, shit like this shows it.
No.
This stuff happens anyway, but now they have an excuse.
So far nothing points to this being connected to Trayvon or anything else like that. It truly does sound like a mentally unstable guy just started attacking people and cops.
Maybe not Trayvon but racism isn't out of the question.
