I suggested it, hence the question mark in the title. Its pretty obvious though that Zimmerman verdict could be the motivation for this violent assault when you take into account the similar killings have already taken place after the verdict. I'm pretty sure this is the case, but I didn't proclaim it in the OP or in the title.

Lamar's implications were not inherently racial, he mentioned attacks like this were not the norm until we started seeing revolts from the Zimmerman trial. Not once did hey call every black person a Trayvon supporter nor did he say all attacks of this nature were racially motivated. His reasoning on the cause for assault may be flawed but that does not make him a racist. Also you mentioned being able to interpret motivation earlier. While that may work in some instances you can't use that line of thinking when arguing, you either have direct proof or not, anything else is utter speculation. Lamar did not directly attack black people. As far as arguing goes, Lamar is not racist.
