Justice for Trayvon? Brooklyn man may be brain dead after unprovoked hate attack in Union Square

i know this is "sensationalist headlines" and all but the unnecessary "justice for trayvon?" prefix seriously reeks of something you'd read from a heavy right-wing news source
i'm pretty well convinced that you're doing it on-purpose for attention at this point
I'll concede that every lamar thread seems to end up with shitflinging at his terrible inflammatory opinion which doesn't necessarily make for the best posting quality, that I don't deny at all. However, you can't just absolve him entirely of any blame.
What ever little vendetta you have with Lamar, can you settle that yourself? And not in an unrelated thread?
Of course they can. If the argument is logical than it is correct, no matter who said it. Just like a communist can make a legitimate point about capitalism and an atheist can make a legitimate point about religion. Arguments rise and fall based on their reasoning, not who makes them.
If a false racist idea is assumed in order to make the argument than you just call out the false idea. Done. In this example it would be enough to just say, "Hey, there's no evidence that this has anything to do with Treyvon Martin." Done deal, unless he can provide evidence you have won the argument.
communism and capitalism are two systems where debate is somewhat enlighteneing as neither is perfect and legitimate points can be made for both and all the denominations of them that exist. religion is something that leads to a lot of interesting debate and isn't necessarily black and white
a racist making a point about race will end up being wrong because racism is factually incorrect. it's like an MRA trying to make a point about gender equality. both have technical elements of correctness like perhaps black people are statistically slightly better at sprinting, or that there's a bias toward women in custody battles, but barring these statistical anomalies the racist/MRA opinion is pretty much entirely bollocks
Dude you never stop. He makes one post and people go fucking nuts and back him into a corner.
That's exactly what you are doing to generic monk.
What ever little vendetta you have with Lamar, can you settle that yourself? And not in an unrelated thread?
lamar deserves to be called out on his racism
I legitimately want someone to tell me why I'm wrong based on the points I've made in page 2. People just point at me and laugh since I think that it's an issue regarding the relocation of work.
well okay, imagine if you were a part of a minority whose ancestor was kidnapped and brought here right
then imagine a looooong time of slavery, a period where you cannot accumulate wealth or status cause of your skin color while white people had both
then imagine after finally getting some recognition as human beings, you're segregated into shitty neighborhood ghettos cause you're poor and white people wants you to go away
then imagine white people owning majority of the buildings and business around you because they had time to accumulate wealth, meaning they created and owned most jobs
then imagine them going away, no wealth stays in your neighborhood, and because you had no chance to accumulate wealth of your own, it's extremely hard to start a business and create jobs while still being stuck in the shitty neighborhood, they had opportunity to move and shit while you didn't
is that easier to comprehend

It's literally the definition of an ad hominem. By calling someone a racist you are attacking the person and not the idea.
Racism is bad because it's based on false ideas. Point out the false idea instead of calling them racist to actually defeat their argument.
lamar deserves to be called out on his racism
Not here, though. If you haven't noticed, this is a thread about a man being beaten into being braindead. This is neither the time, nor the place.
That's exactly what you are doing to generic monk.
Except I'm not making shit up and branding him and calling names.
???
im so confused
where does it say that it was done in justice for trayvon?
Nowhere. Which is why everyone is bitching at lamar and now Paul McCartney is bitching at people for bitching at lamar. While He gets bitched at for bitching at the people who are bitching at lamar.

White flight has to do with the mass migration of seven million black people from the south to the north during the 60s and 70s and the white reaction.
It's beyond that and they chose to go there and the area they lived in for that time, it's the generations after that got fucked up by it.
It's literally the definition of an ad hominem. By calling someone a racist you are attacking the person and not the idea.
Racism is bad because it's based on false ideas. Point out the false idea instead of calling them racist to actually defeat their argument.
ie what ive done in every sentence that has come before "lamar is racist" in my posts?
[editline]7th September 2013[/editline]
why do you guys always have to pretend you're just here for the spirit of debate and "civility" rather than just owning up to the fact that you agree with lamar and want to defend his stance because it is your own? stop pretending you're just here to defend the sanctity of debate or something, if you're going to argue like a nerd on the internet just argue your point and shut up, stop acting as though you're here to teach everyone else how to be "mature adults" or some shit

ok here we go
saying that a black person beating up a white person, with no evidence at all to support you, is doing it because of the trayvon martin verdict is racial profiling which is fucking retarded
it's like you're actually voluntarily ignoring all the posts where his argument is picked apart
ie what ive done in every sentence that has come before "lamar is racist" in my posts?
No no no. see, what you were doing was the bolded things in front of the start of the sentence that you bolded.
Not here, though. If you haven't noticed, this is a thread about a man being beaten into being braindead. This is neither the time, nor the place.
yes, and it's a thread where lamar tries to use that event to push his beliefs that blackpeople (traybots) are all so mad about the zimmerman case that they're going to kill all the whiteys. it IS the time and it IS the place especially because people are defending lamar and his terrible position.
No no no. see, what you were doing was the bolded things in front of the start of the sentence that you bolded.
nah i've explained the logic of my accusation like 4 times to HumanAbyss alone don't play that
[editline]7th September 2013[/editline]
do i need to make a color coded flow chart to make this easier for you to get
It's literally the definition of an ad hominem. By calling someone a racist you are attacking the person and not the idea.

His argument was defeated the second someone (Kopimi, due credit) actually read OP's article and discovered absolutely nothing to do with justice for trayvon.
nah i've explained the logic of my accusation like 4 times to HumanAbyss alone don't play that
I don't know, I'd say calling someone a mong, slang for retarded/ downs syndrome is quite on the offensive.
I don't know, I'd say calling someone a mong, slang for retarded/ downs syndrome is quite on the offensive.
that has literally nothing to do with whether or not i've disputed lamars point lol
I don't know, I'd say calling someone a mong, slang for retarded/ downs syndrome is quite on the offensive.
cry about it some more far out, he edited that and apologized for it what more do you want him to do?
ok here we go

are you happy now
So you traded one ad hominem for another? Why is it so difficult to just tell someone why their wrong without using personal insults.
How about: "I see no evidence to show this has anything to do with the Treyvon martin case. Can you show me where you got that assumption from?"
If they can't give any evidence then CONGRATULATIONS! You won the argument.

racists deserve to be insulted
I was referring to the calling them racist part next to the text you bolded.
[editline]7th September 2013[/editline]
racists deserve to be insulted
Told that they're wrong and here's why I understand, but insulted? Then they feel more passionate about it since these fuckers are screaming at them.
I was referring to the calling them racist part next to the text you bolded.
take a 10 minute break, gather your thoughts, meditate a bit, then come back and try to form a coherent sentence for me to respond to dude
hi im lamar and i think hate crimes only started happening after the trayvon verdict
you're a racist silly flower for thinking that everyone who commits a hate crime is part of some pro-trayvon hivemind
[editline]7th September 2013[/editline]
mainly because you make the assumption that if a black person commits a hate crime its because of trayvon because OBVIOUSLY all black people supported trayvon!!
the chances of a black person as stupid as this one not supporting trayvon martin are almost non existent. this guy went and stood in a public place and declared he would attack the first white person he seen, and you don't think someone with such a lack of brain power is susceptible to the liberal media's agenda in the trayvon martin case? this is the kind of person who simply does NOT think for themself. their opinions are the opinions of those around them, and right now the people around him are a bunch of ethnic stereotypes repeating 'Justice for Trayvon' like it's a fucking religious chant.
Told that they're wrong and here's why I understand, but insulted? Then they feel more passionate about it since these fuckers are screaming at them.
i love how the "fuckers" in this scenario are the people telling racists to fuck off, rather than the racists themselves
Not here, though. If you haven't noticed, this is a thread about a man being beaten into being braindead. This is neither the time, nor the place.
If you want to change the course of the debate why don't you actually MAKE A POINT THAT CHANGES THE COURSE OF THE DEBATE rather than just moaning at people? Can you please prove that you're not just here to passive-aggressively support Lamar under the guise of 'maintaining civility' because what it's looking like to me is more along the lines of just not wanting people to disagree with it
the chances of a black person as stupid as this one not supporting trayvon martin are almost non existent. this guy went and stood in a public place and declared he would attack the first white person he seen, and you don't think someone with such a lack of brain power is susceptible to the liberal media's agenda in the trayvon martin case? this is the kind of person who simply does NOT think for themself. their opinions are the opinions of those around them, and right now the people around him are a bunch of ethnic stereotypes repeating 'Justice for Trayvon' like it's a fucking religious chant.
It's always three word phrases that cause violence.
Would you kindly, Justice for Trayvon, it never ends.

if they're going to be even more passionate about being a racist then they're a dumb piece of shit and i'll just insult them more. you can't explain things to racists because racism is irrational
[editline]8th September 2013[/editline]
i love how the "fuckers" in this scenario are the people telling racists to fuck off, rather than the racists themselves
WOW did he just call us fuckers?! WOW WHAT EVER HAPPEN TO BEING CIVIL
i love how the "fuckers" in this scenario are the people telling racists to fuck off, rather than the racists themselves
If someone is wrong, they're still human. Having an ideology drilled into you isn't your choice and if someone shows you why you're wrong, you're more susceptible to have a humane conversation rather than tell them to fuck off since they're screaming at you.
