It probably might. Low end phones outsell high end stuff because a lot of average joes want nothing more than a functioning cell
Woa, two sites and no Mass Effect reference? I'm impressed.
Anyways, I'm excited to see this smartphone. Gonna be interesting.

They've found an exploit though that they can have their own secondary bootloader on the 710 and the 800 but they were never able to initialize the display properly
Man, I fucking loved this phone, I had this and it's predecessor the N900

It remains as one of the best smartphones ever made, but because of Nokias incompetence they only expected to sell 100'000. They sold 200'000 in the first two weeks, but because of their shitty marketing it never got out of its niche market despite being what Android 4.1+ is today way back in 2009 (with functions that modern android phones lack even now). And it could triple boot Maemo 5, MeeGo and Android 4.0 (on a 600Mhz processor, you could OC it to 1ghz though).
Oh Nokia, you fucking retarded genius.

On topic, I don't know if I really want to buy another Android phone whenever I replace my HTC One V. Unfortunately, is currently the least bad choice.
That was a typo on my part, I mean free of cost there.

He expected free as in "libre", you meant free as in "beer"
windows phone fucking rocks, you guys just dont KNOW. It's the most stable os for phones and it's definitely the best looking, the two most important things for me for a phone OS.
[editline]27th December 2013[/editline]
not to mention, the most battery efficient. my lumia 920 has gone 3 days without charge before, with regular use like pandora, internet, etc.

Get a 3310 with a new/refurb battery.
Sorry that the rest of us likes to be able to actually do things with a expensive device.

The circles and rectangles are "clashing" the design though.
and the color wheel backround in the center circle really looks out of place.

Why buy a featurephone disguised as a smartphone then?
Cut the bullshit and pick a featurephone that doesn't pretend to be something it isn't

Well that just looks generic as all hell. Looks almost like every modern design website on the face of the earth. The buttons on the lower half also don't fit in in the slightest, which throws the whole thing out of whack.
If there's one thing Windows Phone 7/8 have actually gotten right, it's the UI design, it's simple, clear and so general that it isn't ugly. The hardware design of the Nokia Lumina series also fits it quite well. They look awkward as fuck when people superimpose Android on to the screen (or actually get it running in a few cases).

AFAIK no one has been able to run any other OS on a WP nokia device, and possibly none of the other WPs. The situation is now even more unlikely since MS locked down the bootloader heavily and the small hacking community for WP has dwindled.
