USA has the unfair advantage of having a huge amount of land that people can live in.
The great depression was not the creation of private enterprise but the failure of federal monetary policy and the ineffectiveness of the federal reserve.
Because they didn't regulate with the economy enough
What does population matter? All statistics are presented per capita.
What does population matter..
Do you understand how statistics work?
In the United States there are population centers and states that match the population of these so called higher standard of living countries as you put it and match the standard of living as well.
What do you think determines standard of living by the way?
A poll and research studies conducted by some institute?
Name one country with as big of a population as the United States with a higher standard of living.
This is a silly argument.
I could easily say no country as large as China has as high of a standard of living, so communism is the best.
The fact that the only two countries with larger populations are shitholes doesn't make our standard of living the best.
Because they didn't regulate with the economy enough
No but rather because they did not take action when the economy was booming.
The central bank failed to inflate the supply of money.
Isn't it funny how we now consider them the saviors?
Naomi Klein
naomi klein?
what does that have to do with anything
No but it is easier to supply a greater standard of living to a smaller population.
Comparing the EU to the USA would be a more fair argument.
What does population matter? All statistics are presented per capita.
Population does matter when talking about standard of living, the more people the more crowded and...well, I don't know, but more people mean it's harder to maintain
naomi klein?
what does that have to do with anything
Did you bother to even look her up?
Did you bother to even look her up?
i've read her book, i don't see how warhol relates to naomi klein

Alright then. Our HDI is .95, theirs is around .93, but if you remove the former Eastern bloc countries, you get a slightly higher HDI.
Although the validity of HDI as a measure of standard of living is quite debatable.

Per capita
And yes, an institute conducts polls using highly accurate polling science. It isn't guessing, it isn't averaging, it's an actual science that has been perfected over decades by thousands of people.
i've read her book, i don't see how warhol relates to naomi klein
Was comparing him to her as they are both against capitalism..
kinda just poking fun.

so you haven't actually read no logo to know that naomi klein is a fair trade activist
Maybe with Rand Paul actually doing politics rather than ranting about it all the time, people just might see how much of a mess he really is. It worked with Obama too.
This is cool.
I explained this before, underprivileged blacks are not represented by the market as strong as middle class whites are so there needs to be some kind of oversight to make sure that discrimination isn't disadvantaging them more than society already has.
That's because statistically, blacks are more likely to end up in jail than whites are. They have the freedoms--correction, they *had* the freedoms.
Also, since when did spreading the wealth worked? Look at the EU and how its state of affairs its economy is in. Look at Greece and its banks. The only country/countries in the EU worth living in are Germany and... um... Germany. I can only imagine what will happen if America closed down its huge military base over there and all us capitalist pigs stopped injecting money into the German system!
Haha okay Naomi Klein what is your alternative?
Communism?
Democratic Socialism, Socialism, not-capitalism.
Oh but it does.
The US military bases have literally nothing to do with the economy. The Germans treat the US bases as more of a nuisance than anything
Greece is down BECAUSE of deregulation of banks. The EU is in a recession and is picking up. You American capitalists seem to think the EU is on the brink of burning for minimal shit
Doesn't fucking matter. Just because you're in europe and you had to unionize 13 fucking countries to get an economy that can surpass america.. doesn't mean you have to pass these types of comments.

You're not clueless if you know there are plenty of countries that are better than the US.

he never said or implied that
canada is a much better country in the US in terms of tolerance, etc.

I dislike annoying, ignorant, and arrogant sobs like you who think they have got it all figured out but when it comes time for debate you'd rather criticize than question.
Never change, it's entertaining.

I'm not acting like a voice of justice and what argument have I ran away from? I'm assuming I probably didn't reply to your post or something somewhere down the line or left a topic.
Give me a break, I'm the joke?
The Qu'ran one, both capitalist ones, etc.
