Secret CIA prison in Poland: Leaders break their silence

Really? Is this actually a surprise to some of you? If you thought for a second that the government is telling the people anything and everything that they are doing, you need to open your eyes.
I like how Americans call us a key allies, yet we still get rammed up in the ass by them.
Rammed up the ass? You where collaborating.
Why does Poland always get the concentration camps?
I hate it when people suddenly think Government=Populace.
I hope the US trips over when walking on the pavement or something because seriously fuck them
It's funny that people still think all parts of the Government are inept.
The CIA clearly knows what it is doing, and petty things like morality and human decency will not stop them from advancing the United States' goals in the world.
That said, this is very scary.
Are we talking about the same CIA that tried to invent mind control and telepathy back in the Golden Era of Sci-Fi?
The House was dominated by Democrats until 2011, Obama has been in office since 2008.
I don't see what this has to do with Republicans.
People tend to forget that George W. Bush had close to 100% approval from the congress in the months following the 9/11 attacks. Of course, he screwed that up pretty soon after that.

They were pretty ambitious yes

You just get rammed up the ass the least

We never of knew if they didnt put up the signs.
A bombs, obliterating entire cities, frying women and children in radioactive fire, didn't do it for you huh?
*sigh*
How many times have we been over this issue here in Sensationalist Headlines before? In thorough detail? I've lost track.

Apparently people don't realize that a lot more Japanese people would have died in a land invasion compared to the bombings.

We would have been at war until the 50's with an estimated 5 million dead for the Japanese and 1 million dead for the allied powers.
Stop digging this horrid excuse for an "argument" out of its grave and let it lie.
OT: Intelligence agencies are always doing this kind of shit. It does not justify it by any means, but you cannot be surprised when stuff like this leaks. This, my friends, is only the tip of the iceberg of what goes on in the cloak and dagger agencies of almost ALL nations.
You do know the American Government has been helping out dictators and willingly destroying other countries' stable governments to serve their own interests way before Bush right ?

Wait so massacring all the natives and slavery of an entire race DOESN'T make you ashamed?
Not to mention all the other shit I don't wanna even get into.
Every nation has atrocities in their past. I can accept things that happened so many years ago, as in my view they're actions fitting with a more primitive, ignorant and violent time. I'm a firm beleiver in Historical Progress, so in my view the state sponsored torture, bigotry, and other assorted Human Rights abuses are far worse because they happened in the last decade. To my knowledge, the crimes of the Bush Administration have yet to be rivaled by a nation of equal standing in this century. And by standing, I mean respectfulness of human rights. Obviously countries like Russia or third world dictatorships would rival them, but they're thought of as barbaric and backward.
The things mentioned make me disappointed, but I'm not ashamed of them or quite as disgusted because they're in our past. But these crimes are disturbingly close to our present, and our government and worse, our people, are doing nothing about them.
Former chief of Poland's intelligence services (UW) Zbigniew Siemiatkowski confirmed earlier this week that prosecutors told him during a January meeting that they were going to lay charges against him for "unlawful deprivation of liberty" and "corporal punishment" against prisoners-of-war in relation to the secret CIA prison, reported Polish site The News.
Unbelievable, the only people going to prison for Bush's torture policies are in other countries, and for allowing the US to get away with it on their soil. Not writing the policies, not conducting the torture, just letting it happen.
And Bush and his whole cabinet live free and rich.
This is fucking disgusting
Who cares if they have secret prisions. If it stops terrorism and routes out the inadequete anti terrorism units in europe then they are doing their job.
Am I the only one noticing the OP has no source?
Everyone who kept up with politics in Poland knew it existed anyway, I passed it on my way up north.
Everyone who says "OMG HOLY FUCK" is stupid. Its no big surprise, we do dirty things. So does every other god damn country on the planet.
Yes but most other countries don't then whitewash themselves and impose double standards on other countries.

I was looking for one myself and realized there was nothing. Hey OP, mind giving the source in this?

sorry man ya thats the source
The United States of America encouraged the militar dictatorships in South America during the '70s. And yes, Reagan was aware of the dissapearing people.

Except it does not stop terrorism not even a little bit. People who are not afraid to die for their ideals are hardly afraid to get sent to some rape camp. It most definitely does not discourage new terrorists. So no the anti-terrorism units do not do shit with such methods. Sorry but there's still a chance of you getting blown up.
But because it's CIA this is just going to get a share of their gritty shady glamour over it and people will think it's more cool than bad.

Im pretty sure to a lot of people the idea of torture is much more scary than the idea of dying. No matter your fanatical beliefs.
Poland is a pretty prosperous nation too, so this is not to be taken lightly.
I guess the USA thought of it as sort of a backwater in which they could hide their crap, didn't think they'd surf through the financial crisis like they did.
