Never watched Star Trek properly but my dad grew up watching it. Always thought Nimoy was a pretty cool guy. R.I.P.
The articles about him being in the hospital made it sound like it was no big deal. FUUUUUUUUCK this is terrible :(
He tweeted this back in January. He's probably known for a while now.
I never really expected him to die. Like, I knew he would eventually, but he's one of those people who is so iconic that it just feels impossible that there was a time when he didn't exist, or that will be a time when he won't. To the end of an era.
To the beginning. May his memory and legacy drive us forward and better us.
2015 is leaving a wicked bad taste in my mouth so far. Tons of great people keep dying.
Rest in peace, Mr. Spock.
Ah damn. Such a kind soul, finally burned out. Hope he lived a wonderful life.
I....I just can't believe he's gone. I've made tributes everywhere I could. He will be sorely missed.
Fuck, and I've been watching the original series again, too...
:'(
Good bye friend, live long and prosper forever in our memories.

Let us remember his magnum opus, I regret not watching star trek until recently.
If only bones was around, he would have saved him!
Its really sad but he was in the worst shape of all the remaining cast, still he has inspired many generations of scientists. At least they filmed a proper funeral in WoK, I think nemoys funeral will be either really small (for his wishes) or really massive
Goodbye, Mr. Nimoy. Thanks for everything you've done.
He probably knew his time was up, it's so sad now. We're gonna miss him.
I knew today would be shit for me in a way, but I just didn't expect this entire year to turn to shit today.
I don't think I'll be able to watch the original series without crying.
I know a lot of people praise him for star trek, but I'll personally always remember him as the voice of Civilization 4.
Beamed up to Heaven. :(
Rest in Peace, Mr. Nimoy.

Soul-crushing news. A very sad loss - an icon and a legend.
Rest in Peace, Leonard Nimoy.
Mr. Nimoy you brought alot of greatness to the big screen. You along with the rest of the crew of the Enterprise changed my life and delivered a future for us to hope for, to fight for, a future that takes humanity to new levels. I'm proud to say that Star Trek has been one of, if not, the largest influences of my life that pushed me into electrical engineering for a better tomorrow.
Your career and your military service are things that I thank you for. You leave a legacy behind that has touched millions, and we thank you.
You have lived long and prospered well, I hope you rest peacefully Mr. Spock..

This sucks so hard. I loved Nimoy. I'm going to be seeing Shatner in April hopefully, and I hope he's going to be okay. At least he lived a very long life and completed many things, he will always be remembered and left a mark on history much larger than most.
