Bulletstorm ----NOT---- to use a DRM system similiar to Assassin's Creed 2

Didn't ubisoft take down their DRM for their existing games? If this is at all accurate I'm sure EA will realize it was a bad idea.
Epic + EA = Fucking fail.
You aren't supporting the DRM by buying it you are supporting the Developer. The way to oppose the DRM is to buy it, try it out for yourself and if at ANY point it's obstructive tell them. Complaining like a little bitch about every DRM method which MAY be required for them to help make profits is just childish.
"Oh no something in a game which doesn't affect the game in anyway at all but I don't like I am not buying"
Grow up
shut up jeez i have dial up and when someone calls my house my internet goes down..
what if im in the middle of a level in bulletstorm.. and someone calls!
boycott EA 2011
In the trailer I saw something that clearly looked like single player:

The problem is that people who are willing to pay the full price for the game and get fucked in the arse while the pirates go off and play the game offline.
You should not have to be watched by a company when you're playing their game.
Besides being forced to be online to play your own game, it's a privacy issue.
What data will they gather, will they upload information of your computer, any private information, will they log your playing time while you don't know about it etc.
Steam logs your data, deal with it. Google logs your data, everything logs your data now and you are whining about a GAME that does it. There are far worse things out there doing it.
As for the singleplayer, I know there is a singleplayer and people will buy it just play the singleplayer. But MAJORITY of the players will end up playing online.
The way to oppose the DRM is to buy it
They'll consider it successful if "everyone does that" and fuck people over even more.

They changed it so you only needed to be online when you started the game.
I'll give it 3 weeks before its cracked
Probably before release tbh
Besides, if the game is going to be released on steam (Which I doubt by this point), what makes them think it's a smart idea to put various layers of DRM? Steam already checks if the account is logged on a single computer and has an internet connection, why do they bother?
"Oh no something in a game which doesn't affect the game in anyway at all but I don't like I am not buying"
it does affect the game
if you lose your internet connection while playing you get kicked out, with no opportunity to save
that's an extremely dick move, and you know it
I'll give it 3 weeks before its cracked
I give it 3 hours, to be honest.
Grow up
Also stop saying the rest of the people who post in this thread are childish. It's not clever to throw a personal insult at a group of people this way.

Steam is a joke drm. You need minimal cracking skills to make your own steam crack.
I suppose companies do not really trust it because of that.
ye stop telling me to grow up.. im 13 for christ's sake
EA doesn't care about pc gamers!

EA doesn't care about gamers overall. They care about money, like most businesses do.
There is a fine balanced to be struck DRM wise. World of Goo was released with none but was still relentlessly pirated, and Spore was released with "strong" DRM and was also relentlessly pirated. That said, a lot of people did end up buying World of Goo anyway.
Whelp, there goes my purchase.

I'm pretty sure this is kneejerk. There's been a revolution in the quality of EA developed games over the last few years since they got their new CEO.

You still need internet connection when starting the game. And it is only for assassins creed Brotherhood I believe.
I bet the next "Generation" of DRM will only allow you to install it once or something ridiculous like that.

World of Goo was a terrible game. If it would have drm it wouldn't sell at all.
As soon as it's cracked it only affects/hurts the actual players...(two weeks after it's released)))

I also don't always have an internet connection, another reason why it's bad.

Pirates can't play online though.
Unless they fuck that up like they did in borderlands.
Here's a hint: If you think the product is bad, then don't buy it.
the boxed copy doesn't say persistent internet connection required
so just fucking get that one then if you don't always have internet
even better news: you can take a boat to the store on your river of tears

Wasn't World of Goo critically acclaimed...
By like, everyone?
It has a 90 on metacritic...
Why don't they just use key codes instead?

Opinion I guess. I thought it was really bad and not worth it's full price.
Wasn't the Assman's creed 2 drm updated to require connection only when you start the game?
