Those 53 Republicans are horrible people.
The person who disagreed with me is a horrible person to, because you support hating a group of people.
but of course, but it's mostly the bias. Just look at what they said that he was pushing the "homosexual agenda."
it's pretty obvious
Well yeah. Although some of the stuff they attribute to him sounds kind of fucked up, but I'm not going to just take their word for it.

uh, what
the fact that those words exist means nothing, the fact that they are taught how and when to use those words means everything
What the fuck is promoting homosexuality.
In Europe, we heard about homosexuality and knew it as a normal thing some adults are doing.
This is how sane people would approach.
Now here's Americans.
"Obviously unless Homosexuality was completely ignored as an important role in society, the gay's will teach our kids to be more gay, hence we'll have more gay kids. Because obviously any kid will start sucking dicks or licking minge if you tell them about the two mum's at the park.

if people are allowed to not hate gay people, they'll think it's ok to be those gay people!
quickly, start collecting bibles

they are most likely over dramatizing it
actually, they are
Kids are allowed to hate whoever they want so long as they do it outside of school.
Kids are allowed to hate whoever they want so long as they do it outside of school.
out of ignorance
education removes ignorance
we have kept ignorance in the school system intentionally as to not remove the ignorance from a child, doing so would offend the parent by making their values seem diminished
Kids are allowed to hate whoever they want so long as they do it outside of school.
Now try getting a class bully to apply that.
Do remember that it was the Republicans that freed the slaves.
Wasn't most of the south republican???

Dude, stop being an asshole. You know as well as everyone else that not all of america is like that. not all of america is republican.
republicans are in the minority. how would you like it if i said "Well the BNP is a pretty well known party so they obviously speak for all of britain; making them nazi's"?
Wasn't most of the south republican???

they are totally not the minority
gays had been persecuted openly up until very recently
I always end up stoned on the weekends in the news section
...huh, well ok...
Wasn't most of the south republican???
Not really. The South at the time of the Civil War was largely Democrat, but the parties at the time didn't embody the same political positions they do now. The Democrats opposed Federal intervention on issues like slavery, while the Republicans opposed slavery on the grounds that it denied whites jobs.

This is what I meant by the Republicans are getting more retarded.
If you look at the beginning, all the best presidents are republicans, and all the worst are democrats/whigs, but more recently, Democrats are becoming more favorable, and republicans less.
Which can be attributed by the fact that now the republicans only represent the extreme right.
They even called Obama a socialist. That's the point I was trying to make.
It's not like the Republicans haven't placed Christian fundamentalists in charge of education to push for mandated prayer and anti-gay/abortion agendas in classrooms.

they would never do that
me being a mod has nothing to do with how terrible your posts are. Here are some highlights:
-these republicans are not asking for kevin jennings to be fired because he "doesn't hate homosexuals," it is for a plethora of other reasons involving sex education at a very early age and tolerance of child abuse, which you would know if you bothered to read the article.
-the republican party has always held anti-gay, family-values positions. There is absolutely nothing uncharacteristic about what they are doing here. They're reacting to a radical-left figurehead appointed by obama, which they have every right and reason to do.
-the american revolution was in 1776. The republican party was founded in 1854. There were no republicans in the american revolution.
You are talking out of your ass. Stop. Your posts make people physically sick.
huzzah!

You're imagining things. You don't have anywhere near enough data in that chart to draw such a conclusion--the assortment looks more or less even between democrats and republicans for the past 2 centuries, even ignoring the fact that the two parties in the 19th century were nothing like the parties they are today.
And there were no republicans "in the beginning."
Again, you're full of shit.

Yeah, I will probably have enough rainbow's after I submit this reply to make lucky the leprechaun look like a irish midget, but I am so fucking curious.

I'm not saying it's perfect, but you yourself said that the party is changing.
If you look at the 20th century, the ones in green in the CSPAN 2009.
Democrats:
Woodrow Wilson
Franklin D. Roosevelt
Harry S. Truman
John F. Kennedy
Lyndon B. Johnson
Republicans:
Dwight D. Eisenhower
Theodore Roosevelt
Ronald Reagan
If you look at the red ones in the 20th century:
Republican:
Warren G. Harding
George W. Bush
Herbert Hoover
If you consider that, currently, democrats have 5 of the 8 best presidents in the 20th century, and republicans have all 3 of the worst.
Me saying that democrats are more favorable now might actually be a valid statement.
You can't exactly say I'm talking out of my ass when my I have a leg to stand on.
You say the parties are changing, which I agree with, I'm saying that the republicans are changing for the worse, and even if republicans get elected, they don't do a very good job.
This is simply because, Republicans are only catering to the extreme right.
They try to deter people from voting democrat by throwing the word socialism around.

Ignorance has been a traditional American value ever since the Cold War.
Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive, just puttin it out there.

3 years after his presidential term ended.
He was republican before that.
Teddy was a borderline socialist
[editline]07:57AM[/editline]
and one of the best presidents ever
3 years after his presidential term ended.

His views were quite different than that.
If you do recall correctly, Teddy took control after his predecessors assassination and moved the Republican party far away from what it was.
He was perhaps one of the first to make headway into the "third way" economy we have today.
Teddy was also the most badass president ever. People were like, "Hey Teddy, did you just get shot?", and he was all like, "Yeah, what of it?:smug:"
Teddy was a borderline socialist
Not really, kind of.
Oh yes, because if children aren't properly "educated" about them, they *automatically* treat them "like shit".
Yes. Take my word for it.
The issue of homosexuality shouldn't be in schools. Math, science, literature and history should be. Politics has no place there.
politics is always in schools, because politics is forever deeply tied into life in society.
