Why is it that whenever there is a crime in Japan, it's always extremely brutal?
Because why would anyone read an article on anything else that happens in Japan? Japanese crime isn't relevant to the West unless it's extremely brutal during a time when theres a lot of extremely brutal attacks going on.
Japan is still one of the safest places on earth to live (aside the earthquakes).
When it comes to murder in Japan it always seems to be a worker who goes postal.
when i think of japan work culture theyre lucky it doesnt happen more often [editline]25th July 2016[/editline]
Japan is still one of the safest places on earth to live (aside the earthquakes).
and the maniacs pointing nuclear weapons at it
Japan is the last place i'd expect something like this to happen what the fuck
Japan has some pretty serious social issues that just aren't highly publicized abroad. I can almost understand how this might have happened, with the immense pressure Japanese people face to achieve high levels of success. The suicide rate is through the roof as a result of that pressure, and the sense of failure and shame that comes along with it for those who feel that they aren't going to reach their potential and live happy, productive lives. That somebody would take this ideology to an extreme and condone killing those without the "decency" or capacity to do it to themselves is somewhat predictable.
damn son I live like 30 minutes from there spooky
Maybe we should focus more on the details of these tragedies instead of saying "2016 is shitty" over and over again.
who said this in this thread before your post, except like, 1 person I mean, "2016 is shitty" is a valid point, it SEEMS to be a lot more common in this year than others.
Japan is the last place i'd expect something like this to happen what the fuck
Japan isn't that peaceful. They have a different taste of crazy is all. [editline]26th July 2016[/editline]
This guy is a psychopath. To show that much apathy towards people who are weaker than you is just plain disgusting.
tbh I wonder how it'd feel to feel as little as him

Truly awful incident, my condolences to the family of the deceased. Going after disabled people, what the fuck...
I swear every single newspaper and every single TV channel is reporting on this all day since it happened. Here is the ridiculous parts though - when it first happened, they were repeating the same exact paragraph probably at least 10 times in a row. Turned off the TV despite my granny watching. And later today, they literally said that "all of those killed were in bed" like it is supposed to be surprising. No shit sherlock, this happened at 2AM. On the other hand, let's be honest - maybe the one who is truly disabled is the man. Condolences to the family of those who have passed away though.
