And there was another study as far back as 1989 where a similar thing occured to lab monkeys who never came in contact.
Point being, there are very few studies that are very far apart that say Ebola is airborne, which kinda makes it not very likely - for now anyway.
And even then, even if it was airborne, that doesn't change the fact that the amount of deaths from Ebola is extremely low and still not worth worrying about.
It's good that a vaccine is being made, it stamps out the disease anyway. But like I said, the common cold and heart disease kills more people than Ebola, but hardly anybody is doing anything about that.
Strictly speaking, Ebola is not properly the same as other airborne diseases are. You CAN get it from large droplets such as are produced when somebody sneezes heavily or coughs out saliva, but it isn't as likely to be infectious as from a blood sample or sexual contact with an infected person.
Also re: the study, another study also proved that Ebola is unlikely to spread directly via the airborne route between primates of the same species, unless it be due to large droplets/exposure to an infected surface covered by or struck by said droplets on exposed mucous membranes (eyes, mouth, lips, etc), which counts as coming into direct contact with an infected body fluid.
y'all seem to miss the point that if we know that someone might have it

I don't even care, I travel with hundreds of people by public transport every day. There's nothing we can do about it anyway. The only thing I can do to protect me against ebola is to hope that I don't get it.

the main thing is to wash your hands a lot, don't put your hands in your mouth, and don't let anyone sneeze on you. just general hygiene safety things can catch it
It seems like most of these Ebola cases are with Aid workers working with Ebola victims, wouldn't they be screened or something prior to returning home?
