Seems like every time the Mueller investigation moves forward, Trump does something. The transgender ban aligned with the revelation of Manafort's home being raided by FBI in the early morning, and now news is coming out that Mueller has issued subpoenas for witness testimony from PR firms that helped Manafort during the Trump campaign. His supporters are exceptional at disappearing when it comes time to try and defend him over the indefensible. As I've pointed out to several of them on multiple occasions, this sort of disappearance act when they can't defend him doesn't help their credibility in the least bit. It only makes people take them less seriously because public perception is that they will only ever defend him no matter how bad his actions get.
If the racism isn't bad enough(which it most certainly is), the guy set up an assassination plot against himself to boost his popularity. An 18 year old went to jail and spent 4 years there before it came out that he was the victim of entrapment. The kid almost spent 20 years in prison for Arpaio's stunt, and yet he got away with it.
I really hope this results in some consequences for Trump, but I'm going to keep my expectations low and say "probably not".

In one week he has undercut the power of the judiciary (possibly causing a constitutional crisis), openly attacked the legislature, and gone over the heads of his military advisors in pushing a transgender ban.
If he isn't an outright fascist he certainly wants to become some variant of totalitarian.
