Of all things, i think they'd be greatly disapointed in our hawkish military positions, as well as the way too cozy relationship lobbiests and outside groups have with the legislature. These are men that grew up in a time when kings and nobles would just outright gift shit to people of power for loyalty, they knew all to well about corruption. Don't know much about this Arpaio, but he seems to have a giant crime list that surely wouldn't have been necessary just to protect the border or whatever he is praised for. This goes against Trump's claims to be pro law and order, so pretty much what the fuck on that level.

This is a 100% wholly political tactical decision. Arpaio is not liked by anyone except raging anti-federalist racists with hardons for abuse of police power. Trump is trying to entrench himself further in this voting bloc because his entire goal is to bleed this country for all he can and destroy the government; incidentally, these voters also want that to happen.

Also, we saw a massive increase of ranchers being killed because people were getting desperate and would go onto their ranches and steal things just to survive the trips into the United States.
I can go on and on about how much I hate the man, but know this: Even most Republicans hate this cunt.

Call it what you will, but the militia groups that were active before Arapio's full retard crap were usually helping people by ensuring that clashes between migrants and ranchers were limited to almost nothing.
Their is a reason why we had a massive Border Patrol surge in the late 00's, it was mainly thanks to a rise in violence caused by Arapio's hardline bullshit.
