Man oh man I feel so bad for the family, two great people just gone right before the new year as well :(
I wish nobody ever had to see their own kid die then die shortly after. That's just awful.
And David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Anton Yelchin, Prince, George Michael, Dave Mirra, Antonin Scalia, Harper Lee, Elie Wiesel, Gene Wilder, Steve Dillon, Leonhard Cohen, Ron Glass, etc.
Holy shit?! I didnt know Dave mirra and Harper Lee died! Fucking christ.. suicide too.. omg :(
What a shame. I can't imagine how the family feels about all this.
This reminds me when Brittany Murphy and her husband died. At first it was thought that it was heartbreak, but then they said it couldve been a toxic mold in their home.
As has been said before, there's more and more media than ever before. By volume, access, and array. And so you're going to see more celebrity deaths than in the past simply because there are more celebrities. That's not to dismiss anyone's feelings when there is a death of course.

What are you talking about? These celebrities that are dying have been around longer than the surge of media coverage. How does that equal more celebrities?

It's a general trend. The number of movies, television series, music records, etc produced annually have increased across the years.
It is a really weird abundance of death at this time of year though, or at least it really does seem like that
the only question is who's next
Shatner, you heard it here first

media coverage has been expanding since forever
the 50s probably had more celebrities than the 40s. the 60s, even more. so on and so on
I cant imagine how hard it must be for their family. New years is going to be pretty heartbreaking to them
