How does picketing funerals in the name of religion not count as a hate crime? I understand that most hate crimes need to be considered violent, but seriously, what WBC does is down right disgusting.

If they get denied a protest permit, they sue the government for millions, and they usually win (since the "church" is like 80% lawyers). Like, quick funerals in undisclosed locations, bodies to be cremated and the ashes thrown in the wind so nobody would piss on their graves etc. It might have been just a rumor though.
