We were never talking of HL2, you were falsely comparing the number of DLC maps of L4D to HL2DM. You can't change your foundation argument to better suit you. At least try to spell, and that is not a valid argument. :downs:
well tell me this why dos L4D2 Beta look worse than L4D1 ?
What. L4D got 12 levels after launch, HL2DM has a total amount of levels of 7. The levels in L4D are not recycled, some of the models are recycled from HL2, but why reinvent the wheel? CSS has gotten no player model updates/graphical updates. L4D has always been supported and more DLC has been announced for the future.
First, the levels L4D recieved were recycled. Didn't you ever noticed that all save one of the Survival maps were sections from the already released campaigns? As for CSS, don't you remember when it was little more than one CT model versus one CT model running on the HL2 standard source engine with no HDR or phong?
well tell me this why dos L4D2 Beta look worse than L4D1 ?
Why do betas look worse than the final games? Oh snap! They are BETAS
Why do betas look worse than the final games? Oh snap!
First, the levels L4D recieved were recycled. Didn't you ever noticed that all save one of the Survival maps were sections from the already released campaigns?
He means the original levels. [editline]01:15AM[/editline]
L4D2 Beta should look Better than L4D1 is what I am saying
But your logic makes no sense, it's a different location and it needs different models, of course some models in the beta are gonna have crappy textures, they're making new textures, not using the old ones, what you see are beta textures.
L4D2 Beta should look Better than L4D1 is what I am saying
It does.
The first levels of L4D were from Terror Strike which was the very early L4D, that does not make them recycled.
What are you on about? I'm talking about what content L4D has recieved AFTER release. What was given was a single new level and the rest were the original campaign levels sliced up and blocked off for Survival.
It does.
so you belive that should be $50 and not $30 ?

[editline]01:21AM[/editline]
so you belive that should be $50 and not $30 ?
Yes, we do. Besides, I never paid $50 for L4D. I pre-ordered, paid $40 because of $10 discount for pre-ordering and still got the demo earlier. L4D2 is probably gonna be the same.
All source games look the same to me.
All source games look the same to me.
L4D2 is waste of EP3 time that's for sure :)
L4D2 is waste of EP3 time that's for sure :)
Yeah, because they totally don't have 2 different teams working on them :downs:

Then they do a single gamemode, versus campaigns that would've been expected on release, a new map and come out with L4D2 not even a year later, meaning another $60+ down the drain for what is essentially an expansion pack. Sound worth it to you?
When will the pre-purchase be available on steam ?

Also, I don't know where you live but if you pre-ordered from Steam and paid $60 then the VAT over there is ripping you off, I bought it from europe and the VAT was about $3. Also, did you not notice the news saying more stuff for L4D1 is coming?
When will the pre-purchase be available on steam ?
Yeah, i wanna pre-purchase it.
L4D2 is waste of EP3 time that's for sure :)
They aren't made by the same teams.
I'm just buying it so I can get a chance at completing my Valve game collection.
They aren't made by the same teams.
L4D2 is wate of people ! all VALVe should be making this game first
L4D2 is wate of people ! all VALVe should be making this game first
go troll somewhere else
Gonna be pre-ordering it if I have enough money to.
Not going to fall for it this time. This time I'm going to let everyone preorder it and get reviews from them.
L4D2 is wate of people ! all VALVe should be making this game first
Hi Tony007 (or however that guy is called)
aghg I hate this demo pre order bulllshit, isn't the point of a demo to see if you want to buy or pre order it ?
aghg I hate this demo pre order bulllshit, isn't the point of a demo to see if you want to buy or pre order it ?
You don't have to pre-order the game in order to play the demo. If you're unsure about buying L4D2 just wait until the demo is out for everyone, then try it out. However, if you're already convinced that this game is gonna be great. You can pre-order and play the demo earlier than everyone else. The L4D2 demo serves the exact same purpose as any other demo, but you'll get to play it earlier if you've already ordered the game.
haha I remember last time I did not preorder it, but Gamestop let me sign up for a early Demo Key anyway and then I played a few rounds of early L4D Demo with THE garry :D 'twas great fun...
This time around I'll try to find some better deal than on Steam. Or I'll wait for some price drop. The demo will tell me if I should actually pre-order it or do what I have in plan. No way I'm paying 50$ + VAT again.
