If you don't pre-order you don't get the [b]early[/b] demo, you still get the demo like a week before the game is released or something. (just like with L4D1)

This pre-order isn't for the Early demo, you won't purchase a demo, you'll have the game and will play the demo early..
I'm probably gonna preorder.
When I first heard of it, and the next few months I thought it was a kinda bad idea, but now that I've seen the videos and screenshots, it looks really nice.
L4D2 looks great, but I'm still pissed that there's no reduced price for previous L4D owners (say, 15 or 20 bucks instead of 50.) It is quite a major upgrade, but I don't think it warrants a new game. A 15 dollar update fee, in my opinion, would satisfy people and still earn Valve money.

I didn't preorder, I played the demo early. We just requested a code and got to play the demo. Hope they do the same with this one.

Uhmm, yes it has. With my old Nvidia 6100 it ran fine untill it got updated. After that, I only had almost 30 fps in some maps.
