Ukraine not sitting by while Russia tries to subvert them with a rebel force that has already caused the death of over 300 innocent civilians is a good thing.

war-porn
many people here not-so-secretly want this to turn into something interesting.
But that is pretty common.

Finally on the BBC: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-28810622
I doubt anything will happen. The most you can expect is sabre-rattling from Russia for a couple months, Russia won't go to war over Eastern Ukraine, what would be the point? Russia has already been crippled by the current sanctions, does anyone really think that they'll escalate further and risk more?

Russia has been attacking Ukraine for months now, what are they supposed to do, sit about, squabble, and do nothing? Good thing they have more balls than NATO.

Because Ukraine is standing up for itself and showing that they're not just going to be pushed around forever. They've shown amazing restraint so far: They've been invaded by Russian Soldiers, terrorised by Russian agents, fighting a Russia-backed Insurgency, and shelled by Russian Forces. Yet they have not retaliated against Russia because they do not want to escalate. But now Russia sends more troops into their territory, well that's fair game.
I'm not one to justify Ukrainians, I'm half-russian myself if that matters at all. Still, it'd be better for all if they didn't blow up an unarmed convoy as that is likely to have some nasty consequences.
They have every right to blow up EVERY non red cross sanctioned Russian convoy that enters the country. Armed or not.
The Russians will be pissed either way. All the other countries will ignore it because driving an unarmed convoy into a country you are in armed conflict with is fucking stupid.

Or they are unable to escalate.
If Ukraine was an equal or even superior force then they wouldn't be showing 'restraint'.
I guess it's finally happening. Here's to hoping that there are as few casualties as possible...
honestly im going to give you my best advice:
go to the shop and get some popcorn, come home, sit down and relax and watch the happy fun time

Be a productive human being that doesn't enjoy death and destruction?

Nope.
Russia's defence ministry said the incursion reports were "some kind of fantasy".
It said: "There was no Russian military column that crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border either at night or during the day."
Doesn't sound like much is 'happening'

Are you fucking telling me you aren't a fucking psychopath who enjoys hearing about and watching death, destruction, and misery? Far out, man.

List of the times Russia has confirmed they're sending troops in Ukraine:

Yeah but war is still pretty terrible. I'm not saying that Ukraine isn't doing the right thing, but there's nothing to celebrate here.
RIP Ukraine
Russia is denying that there ever was a military convoy to begin with

Well then, thats sort of good, since I thought the russian state media would be going "HEY WE SHOULD DESTROY THE UKRAINE SINCE OF THIS HOSTILE AND NON-PROVOKED ACT!" or something.

Thank god they didn't take that route.
I sure as fuck ain't volunteering for a war.
Well thank fuck nobody's asking you.
If they wrecked anything, surely there'll be wreckage and possibly bodies with identification?
[editline]15th August 2014[/editline]
Adding to this, must be awful for the families of any possible Russian soldiers possibly lost in this possible skirmish, since their death is being officially denied as a lie and propaganda.

Who said something about volunteering? That's what professional armies are for.
Who said something about volunteering? That's what professional armies are for.
'Professional' armies are composed of volounteers.
Professional armies are composed of volounteers.
and sometimes conscripts
Why isn't there any concrete proof here?
Pictures, videos or anything?
lets wait for confirmation before we jump on the "ITS HAPPENING JUMP TO COVER" wagon
