Nationality has nothing to do with it my dude, everybody's got the right to put out their opinion on a forum, but by that same principle, everybody else has the right to discuss your opinion and tell you if it's a good one or a bad one to be holding.
Say what you will about this creature Trump, it's established that he's one of the worst possible presidential candidates America could have the misfortune of having and all of his brilliant ideas have been dissected and proven wrong by multiple unbiased sources, on top of all the blatant human rights violations and mob violence he's suggested. The reason people support him is because he's a very skilled demagogue with a strong cult of personality that draws in people.
We've nothing against somebody supporting a candidate whom we're willing to discuss their pros and cons with reasonably. What you and the other Trumpets do is simply regurgitate everything he says with your own positive spin on things, and that's how effective his demagoguery is. Feels before reals is not a valid, legitimate political tactic, unless you truly are the bottom of the barrel in terms of politics.

The problem is is that Trump supporters are INCREDIBLY SELECTIVE on what posts they post on. None of the Trump supporters I know about on this forum before this thread have even breathed a word here. Once. They refuse to actually argue and instead ignore our posts, ignore what we're saying, and refuse to actually debate or discuss.
That's why some people are name-dropping - to try and get them to at-least defend themselves. So many of the points they have raised are contradictory and it seems so many of them shouldn't support Trump but do because of his charisma or some other reason.
Besides, Clinton supporters get the same thing if they poke their heads into a thread about Clinton. Even people who aren't out and out Clinton supporters (I was a Bernie supporter, ya know) get abused, as 'liberals' and 'cucks.' But at-least we have the balls to argue against it reasonably, and we don't soapbox about it or scream about the abuse I face. This is anecdotal, but I was abused to hell by one person who was a Republican, all because of my opinions on guns it felt. I bet they're out their supporting Trump too, despite the fact that he went against everything they used to stand for...
This whole election is making me sick. I'm literally terrified about what is about to happen in November. At this point I think it might not matter who is voted in President, I think the United States is about to going through a terrible period of suffering and I hope to god the people I know in the States will be fine... or have the ability to leave.

Problem is, if you're voting for Trump, you're voting for a guy who supports (among other terrible things) torture - I don't really care if you're only voting for his economic policy or whatever; you deserve scorn. You can't say "yeah I'm not really into torture or the wall or whatever, but I don't like Clinton's economic policies that much!" because those things really can't be equated in my opinion. If you're voting for Trump, you've decided that having extremist standpoints - like going after terrorists' families - is a-okay, and you're even gonna vote for it. People who aren't all in with torture (or Clinton) should just stay home on election day or vote third party.
I should add to the point about folks outside of America commenting on the election, particularly Canadians - we're invested in the election because it affects us, probably more than any country in the world other than Mexico. It might seem strange to the Trumpets here what with the shortsighted jingoism, but people in the rest of the world actually pay attention to what happens in other countries. Especially the largest, most powerful, and potentially most dangerous one.

I don't think I'm the only one that thinks that to support Trump, you'd have to be an ignorant buffoon, blind to how singularly terrible he is as a presidential candidate. Frankly, I'm fine with generalizing those who support Trump. It would take a special kind of mental gymnastics to act so strongly against the best interests of one's own countrymen; either you know the facts and have somehow convinced yourself that Clinton is at the very least worse, or you're woefully ill-informed.
Perhaps it's beyond me, but I can't attempt to try and look at this from a point of view where he's the better candidate that I don't quickly recognize as impressively stupid.
