A country where domestic abuse is legalized and political opponents killed. What a dream
Alexander Litvinenko was a former KGB agent who died three weeks after drinking a cup of tea at a London hotel that had been laced with deadly polonium-210.

Anna Politkovskaya was a Russian journalist who was critical of Putin. In her book "Putin's Russia," she accused Putin of turning his country into a police state. She was murdered by contract killers who shot her at point blank range in the lift outside her flat.

Sergei Yushenkov was a Russian politician who was attempting to prove the Russian state was behind the bombing of an apartment block. He was killed in an assassination by a single shot to the chest just hours after his political organisation, Liberal Russia, had been recognised by the Justice Ministry as a party.
All this and more could be yours if you allow Russian agents free reign in your country!
But he isn't, and misusing words like this for emotional impact is tiresome and detrimental. There are actual dictators that are responsible for crimes against humanity who still continue their reign unpunished today, Putin isn't one of them.
Hmmm Sure does seem to be a lot of pretty horrible dictatorial style things that he's done that you're ignoring but you must be right

People pushing for a good relationship with Russia just for the sake of having a good relationship with a large world power is a worrying trend. Russia is objectionable on a number of seriously significant fronts that we shouldnt take for granted. I'm fine with the idea of an alliance with Russa, but I'd rather we levrage our global prescence to improve those objectionable traits before we consider it.
Im not a republican and I would like to see Russia become a closer friend, I dont think a wedge should be driven between the US and Russia despite some of the things that have happened in the past few years. I feel like some people think that Russia is bad in principle, but I disagree with that because that line of thinking sort of precludes things getting better.
Yeah bro, let's bridge the divide with ISIS too while we're at it, since we're getting chummy with authoritarian, repressive, flagrant human rights violators, apparently. #MAGA
I blame all these twat "anti-feminist/sjw" you tubers all over the site, who get teens to parrot their retarded, just as cancerous opinions.
Can you link some profiles? I've never looked into it but I have seen one clip from an unrelated video.
Can you link some profiles? I've never looked into it but I have seen one clip from an unrelated video.
I don't think he's suggesting that they're visiting the site, just that their videos get posted in the videos subforum and occasionally SH.
How is putin not a dictator?
I think its more likely that Putin is just a figurehead. It'll be the people round him who do the lion's share of decision making - still not great especially since the elections/whole presidential prime minster revolving door bs is dodgy as fuck

I don't want to sound condescending, but most westerners really struggle with the concept of corruption on a high level. When people say Russia is corrupt, they don't just mean that you can bribe your way out of a situation - they mean that the country is controlled by a select number of people who promote their own interests regardless of anything. And they're damn good at it too.
