You're too used to the average zombie story. Thing is that kind of hesitation would get you killed. If my family were infected I'd kill them all without even blinking, it's a matter of survival.
Doubtful.
Holy shit, I was listening to the starcraft 2 main theme while reading and just as I got to the panel where Zoey is about to go flashback mode it plays Dugalle's suicide theme. Sc2 nerdiness aside, I called it if there is a midnight riders reference in Francis' comic.
Doubtful.
Just because you don't have the balls to do it doesn't mean some others don't. My life is largely based around personal preference and logic. And logically and preferably, if someone is about to endanger me even if they're my own family I'll shoot them. They'd be unable to control themselves if they were trying to kill me so even if they still had a conscious mind, it'd be torment to be kept alive and watch what you do. And if they don't have a conscious mind then the only difference a bullet in the head would make is that they wouldn't be able to kill me. Simple as that.
I don't see it, do I have :downs: ?
"I'm guesing not."
You'd hesitate. No more to it.
The only thing I'd stop for is to make sure I don't miss to conserve bullets.
The only thing I'd stop for is to make sure I don't miss to conserve bullets.
you're so hardcore
The only thing I'd stop for is to make sure I don't miss to conserve bullets.
Either you've already murdered your family, or they all raped you.
The only thing I'd stop for is to make sure I don't miss to conserve bullets.
Bull-fucking-horse-shit. Let's say your mom is infected, you're about to put a bullet through the head of your own god damn mother, and unless you're in one of those abusive parental relationships, there is no way you're not going to get emotional about it.
You people. I love my family no doubt, but the thing is I'm not retarded enough to let myself die because I'm a stupid pussy who can't put a bullet through someone who is endangering me. It has nothing to do with being hardcore or edgy, it has everything to do with knowing what's necessary for survival.
Either you've already murdered your family, or they all raped you.
Or he's acting tough.

You can blab on about logic and a calculating mind, but emotions like that the ones a "kill your parent" situation would bring up would throw that shit out the window. You may still even kill them, but there is no way that is not leaving intense emotional scarring.

They did it just fine, exactly how it should have been because that's how things would have gone down. You don't have time to hesitate in that situation. (Except for that crazy homeless man barging in, my dad would have just shot him. Or I would have, either way we're not very nice to people who barge in uninvited. Especially bloodied, probably smelly and messy people.) Of course there would be emotional scarring but when you're in danger emotions need to go fuck themselves or otherwise you're going to fucking die. That's why in both L4D games there's only 1 woman and 3 men, because women are too emotional and ended up fucking dead.
Why do their masks look so.. mspainted on? [img]http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/9939/picture15vr.png[img]

Most people wouldn't. So I think I was right to expect a little hesitation.
This would probably make a great movie, would make up for the crappy movies out there.
Zoey's story made me sad for her.
As sad as it was, anyone else think Zoey's backstory felt a little.. Rushed? [sp]"I'll help you!" "No I'm a zombie, shoot me!" "k"[/sp] I'm not trying to.. Talk it down or anything, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It just felt a tad rushed.
They both saw it a million times. They both know the only important thing for now. They both know there is no time to lose.

You can't just set aside the emotional impact of shooting your father when you're about to put a bullet between his eyes. Human emotions are going to motherfucking go into overdrive in a situation like that, all the macho dudes thinking they're bad asses by yakking about how they would calmly kill their parents if they had to are kidding themselves. I'm still in confusion how the witch survives bullets, she's not the tank ffs, blast her stick anorexic ass.
I find it funny how L4D began terribly cliche (intentionally) and now it has a brilliant storyline.

I have done it, and I can do it in any situation that warrants it.
The dialogue between Francis and Louis in the cell was solid gold.
Every talk Louis and Francis had was amusing, looking forward to the next part.
You say that, but could you really? These are the kinds of things I hear all the time, but actually given the situation, I doubt most people could do that.
I wouldn't pull the trigger on them until they finnaly turned gotta have the last living moments from them
