The game is massive.
someone needs to add arma3 to this
Never really thought that the scale of the US was that big.
I'd love to go on a road trip in the US. Road trips here are like 6-10 hours and you're done.
Road trips here are like 2-3 hours :v:
This is like NFS: The Run meets TDU meets Motorstorm, and I love it.
the physics will make or break this.
Wonder will it have some big manufacturer names, I'd love to drive a few Ferrari's.

Its more like Burnout Paradise meets Fast n Furious.
Bigger maps are making me more and more excited for Just Cause 3
the problem with big opens worlds like Just Cause's is that 90% of the open area is practically useless
While the size of this game is impressive, I'd love to see a game like GTA with this size

Just Cause 2 had mountains, jungle, deserts, sub urban, beach villages, forests, swamps and several other different types of land which honestly felt a bit cramped up.
Having more ways of transport other then car/plane/boat would be awesome. (train/metro/zeplin/cruise boat and other)

I'm all for large maps but I feel like they can be too big for their own good in some cases. I felt like there was no reason for Just Cause 2 to be that huge outside of "Just 'Cause." It just became a chore sometimes to negotiate your way around the island.

If it was GTA. Yes then it would.
But in JC 2 you first start your journey in this crap car, later on you jump on the roof and you pull out a parachute and glide to the faster car, you hijack it and you drive away but you accidently hit some guy while spinning away, cops are chasing you at high speed so you quickly jump on your roof and you hoist yourself to the bumper where you shoot the enemy from. Eventually you shoot the tire of the police car and the car makes a incredible flip and launches itself in another cop car and they both explode in which you realise you are still driving straight ahead and a tree is a few meters ahead so you roll off your car and you watch as your new sport car rushes into a tree and it explodes while destroying the same tree and damage a car which was on its way.

And that ladies and gentleman is Just Cause 2.
[SUP][SUP]I've played too much JC2..[/SUP][/SUP]
When it releases I'm probably not leaving my room for some time
This is just too fucking incredible
That's a lot of barren wasteland then... with cities and highways inbetween, and the occasional landmark.
it'll be like an updated version of this

If all the major cities from the U.S. are included, i'll just occupy the rough area of my actual neighborhood and race downtown where I work :v:
holy crap, that's just HUGE
For a comparison, it took me about 5 hours in my Ferrari, not 1.5 hours... because, you know, gas stops. And peeing.
Also, this game looks really cool, hope that Ubishoft doesn't screw it up.

Don't forget about traffic if any and driving somewhat at the speed limit.

Or you can steal a fighter jet and accidentally hit a tree.

If I can drive through Buffalo I will jizz. This is a game I've been waiting a long time for and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
Yeah the older Gran Turismos had the 24hrs of Le Mans and Nurburgring 24, along with other shorter endurance races.
Finished up the Nurburgring 24 on GT5 last month. Took around 1 week.
best i've ever done is 200 laps at Super Speedway in GT2. haven't had the willpower to do 300 miles of Grand Valley or any of the other insane ones.
Why does my g27 have to be broken... :c
I know a guy who's working on this. I can probably go bug him for more info.
Nice try, but my model has a taller roll-bar. Also, it's black plastic. Not red. Also, that's not me, that's my older brother.
How do you know I haven't?
Cause you switched your profile to private right after he said that.
First thing everyone is going to do is try to find their hometown or home state if they don't live in a big city.
This looks awesome.

It would be radical as fuck if they used your basic IP location to decide which area to start you out, though I guess for those outside the US it would put you in a random place.
