So this will be my TDU3...
I wish it could have enough players and handle enough players to make it an insanely huge demolition derby' that would just.... wow
Or you can steal a fighter jet and accidentally hit a tree.
Yeah... accidentally...
Physics look very NFS-like (that is to say, arcade-like.) I hope they have a more realistic mode, but that would interfere with online, unless there are races that are hardcore only or something.
First thing I'm doing after getting that is a road trip down Route 66 in a muscle car. (it's been my dream for as long as I can remember.) Also god damn this trailer gave me some serious Fast And Furious vibes, it even had NOS and shit. (that's a good thing.)

The main thing that turned me off NFS:HP was the fact that the steering "automatically" corrected your skids (and AFAIK, you can't turn that off). It feels more like I'm guiding the car than I am actually driving it. If I want arcade driving style, I want Burnout (or I guess the old NFS) drive feel.
Wow, this game looks fucking awesome. I really hope the game is as good as they say, and the customization is actually good.
does it have customization like in nfs: ug or mw?
Also
This is so out of scale and incorrect
does it have customization like in nfs: ug or mw?
one of the developers said they're looking at NFS Underground 2 for customization
It's safe to assume they'll only be using big cities and popular cities and capitals and such, right? Like, I doubt I'll be able to cruise around in Kickapoo, Illinois right?
I wanna explore my shitty city of Saginaw, Michigan :V
It's difficult enough to do in real life; driving cross-country is a grueling experience once you run out of interesting things to look at.
Try driving in Indiana "Oh look, more cows. And some corn. I haven't seen any of that since, I dunno, 5 fucking seconds ago."
Would you sit 30 hours in front of computer or tv with gamepad and drive 30 hours to some fucking city?
I wouldn't spend 1.5 hours either tho
I wouldn't spend 1.5 hours either tho
I totally would with friends though. If free roam generic cop chases are a thing, I would totally pair up with a friend, find some cops and begin a carnage filled road trip. As long as it's not a plain straight road with no cities or anything along the way I am so down for it.
I wouldn't spend 1.5 hours either tho
lightweight [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] I am pretty excited for this but the map makes me laugh Washington right next to New York Area between Texas and Florida completely gone, where's Arizona, and the convenient cutout of where Seattle was supposed to be :v:
aww son of a bitch, they cut out my whole region. [editline]15th June 2013[/editline] The include Idaho, but not half of Washington? What the fuck Ubisoft.
-snip, as I am confused-

Highly doubt they included the Dakotas though, considering we aren't one big patch of ice. Not at least 8 months of the year :v:.
It'd be neat if they used main roads from Google Maps or something as an overlay... but that's kinda asking a bit much.
This piece of shit has made ubisoft on my blacklist of developers, along with THQ. Is rayman/the crew really this good?
....THQ is dead? [editline]16th June 2013[/editline] Broken picture link by the way.
Do we know if it'll have interiors, or at the very least a hood view? I can't stand driving games from the third person
someone needs to add arma3 to this
Arma 3's map is only 270km[SUP]2[/SUP]
The Bay Area exists, I am getting this game even if it's only to run over where my house should be, although this game looks awesome anyways
That and the highway that runs that close to the gulf of mexico on the Florida Panhandle is HW98, and it's a straight as fuck road from Alabama almost all the way to the Atlantic ocean. They should've included it, or I-10 if they wanted to do major roadways but put their own artistic spin on it, for some serious speed along a coast
I'm having some difficulties understanding your comment. Anyone cares to translate it?
He's saying a Childrens game on the GBA is the reason Ubisoft is on his shit list.
