seeing anything that's tinted brown will trigger war flashbacks
Its like it's the 50's and 60's all over again.
Society honestly has gone backwards to the same issues in that time period somewhat since the War on Terror started honestly.

His beret looks like smashed ass, he needs to reshape it!
Those panelists were really good for fox and came up with very logical points holy shit
I like how they mention that the billboard is close to ground zero, as if that would be relevant in any matter.
You should watch this one documentary, I think it's called the Mosque at Ground Zero or something similar. It's about this guy (I don't remember if he was a muslim or not but I think he was) who wanted to build a community center for muslims because it was a good business opportunity, but it caught the attention of Fox News and other right wing activists because it was 2 blocks away from ground zero. Fox News then spread the idea that it was a "victory mosque" to mark a successful attack or some crazy shit like that, and in the end the guy couldn't even build it. Pretty good story

but fox news told me brown people are bad.

Ironic because Fox basically manufactured outrage for this entire story in order to get more views.
there is now a billboard in times square, only a few miles from ground zero
HOLY SHIT IS THIS FOR REAL
FUCK OFF FOX NEWS
Me dear Queen only hahz a million pounds left
Me guess is she lohst a loht of weight
I stick up for you normally, mate.
But don't you dare talk shit on my Queen.
But it's not muslims that we should be against, it's the fucking Wahhabi.
This sort of makes me wonder what people thought about my grandfather, a World War II vet, marrying my Japanese grandmother at the time.

There's also the GIs coming back from Vietnam with Vietnamese wives.
The thing is, civilians are not the enemy, regardless of nationality. The enemy is those guys crawling around in the wilderness with assault rifles and face-masks. The men, women and children living in the villages your patrol routes regularly take you through, they're just people who are unlucky enough to find themselves in a war-zone.
Hand out water bottles and MREs, have your medics take care of the sick and injured. Help them. You're far more likely to garner support for your cause doing that than if you just go around burning villages and gunning people down in the street.
When will people stop caring about anything related to Islam being near ground zero. The entire Muslim population wasn't behind the attacks.
There will be a day when people stop hating Muslims. But that day will come when extremist are gone.
My dad still hates all muslims and I hear racist and very hateful shit constantly about it. He would probably agree with fox.

Do you expect Fox News or hard-conservative/racist people to have enough of a brain to be able to tell the difference?

no one's ever gonna do anything progressive if we deride them for it every time
