probably the only happy thing in the thread

So, no comment from Russia yet?
If so, gee I wonder why
The Russian defence ministry has said the accusations of shooting the aircraft down are 'absurd'.
It DID say NSFL (not safe for life)...your fault.
I understand that, I just don't understand the purpose of posting that picture. Like, are you trying to make people feel awful? Do you have some weird gore fetish? I just don't get why people share images like this. I understand curiosity, but this image goes a little beyond imo
The Donestk PR has confirmed the fall of a passenger plane after Strelkov claimed it was an An-26 3 hours ago. According to VK they claim to be interested in a objective and are willing to admit foreign investigators.

To get an idea of what's going on? You can't just close your eyes to the world and pretend everything is wonderful.

Yea I know. You'll get the gist of it at least.

It's reality. If you want to insulate yourself from things like this, the Internet is the wrong place to be.
To the people rating dumb, dead adults are to be expected, dead children and infants can be horrible mentally. I've seen dead people and done CPR but that truly made me feel bad, so stop rating dumb you inconsiderate asses. Although point stands if a link says NSFL don't click it
Thanks, this is what I was trying to say.

I think it's to be expected that it's going to be terrible if it's tagged NSFL
but some people are actually curious how "bad" things can get, not like a fetish or something.
Pictures like that can actually make you more sympathetic and understand how shitty things like war really are. It's not just hollywood BOOM everyone's dead. There's stories and emotions much deeper than that.
Rebels said that a plane shot it down, not a air to ground missile. Really?!

Virgin and Lufthansa too
I am too, I've looked at the other NSFL pictures posted here. By no means am I insulated, I am very aware of how bad it can get. But posting pictures of dead babies without a warning is kind of fucked up. Like, if he just posted it and said "NSFL, dead baby" we wouldn't be having this conversation
-I need to stop posting-

Personally I don't think gruesome photos from war should be censored. When you vote to go to war you should know exactly what you're putting soldiers and civilians through. You need to ask yourself if it's worth it.

They have the biggest idiot on right now. Some old guy from the U.S.
CBS Live reported that Obamas conversation with Putin barely regarded this and it was only noted.

NSFL includes ANYTHING related to death and/or gore. Babies are no exception.
Don't worry about the people suffering, they didn't.
The fact they look intact doesn't mean much. If the plane got hit by a Buk and the parts of fuselage are all over the place and there wasn't a single radar blip between normal flight and the plane crashing, it means it just blew the fuck up.
The people in there got their share of both the shockwave from the explosion and then completely instant decompression at 10000 meters. Whoever wasn't dead instantly was definitely immediately unconscious from the shockwave and decompression, and it's highly unlikely they woke up before hitting the ground.
Before they could understand what's going on, they were already dead.

It says NSFL, what were you expecting?
Honestly, I've always thought it was a matter of time before an airliner is shot down in Ukraine.
... So when are we gonna see NATO paratroopers being dropped in over Ukraine?

Russian and Ukrainian ATC are routing all flights away from that area
Interesting theory i heard while watching a live stream: Rebels took one of Russia's mobile anti-air trucks, but russia was still able to controll it, framing the rebels
But despite that i hope this doesn't escalate, whoever's to blame it's not worth a WO3, so lets hope for the best and pray for the families of the victims

The last thing we need now is for Putin or his minions to claim interference in local affairs and commencement of real war to take place.
