Oh, late, must've missed it.
A list of the possible crew on board (assuming they return on same plane)
That says flight M16 arriving into the Netherlands?
I cared at first, but then I realized how little people did about Odessa and other killings. Then I remembered all the articles claiming they were Russians and asking for it. So yea. Nobody cried for war when ultras intentionally burned people alive. Rebels make a mistake, suddenly people do. I can't not notice the stark difference, sorry.
I think the stark difference is about 250 people. Also, stop pretending like blowing up an airliner is just an honest mistake, "whoopsie daisy tiger, you did your best don't worry about it."
This reads like an Uwe Boll movie. Please stop trying to be theatrical.
Okay, fine, fine I'll stop, I get it.
This reads like an Uwe Boll movie. Please stop trying to be theatrical.
No idea how you found that theatrical.

And you love going on about Odessa. You do realize it wasn't a massive nazi rally that burned those people alive, it was some assholes from the Pro-Ukraine side that fucked that off, while others from the same Pro-Ukraine side got scaffolding to get people out of those buildings. For the record the Odessa thread got two pages. They didn't stop the nationalists beating down the doors and throwing molotovs, the police did nothing, and the governor apologized for it the day after.
That says flight M16 arriving into the Netherlands?
Flight crew can be the same on a flight that arrives, fuels and then takes off again shortly after.
Please, don't turn this thread into another "Russia vs NATO" shitthread.
Please, don't turn this thread into another "Russia vs NATO" shitthread.
Thank you for saying this.
Please, don't turn this thread into another "Russia vs NATO" shitthread.
Fine.
No idea how you found that theatrical. I also find Conscript to be acting pretty idiotic
It's an internet forum. I'm as disgusted and certain that the separatists are responsible for this as he is, but typing like that makes it hard to take him seriously.
That looks suspiciously like a Launcher for the SA-6 "Gainful" SAM. Used by, you guessed it, Russia. This is not good.
That isn't a Gainful, it's a Buk loading platform and they are used by pretty much every post-Soviet country, including Ukraine.
How about yourself and your side? Where's your rage for nationalist torching 42 people in Odessa? The most the western media did for that was debate its numbers and hint they weren't Ukrainian. Somehow I find the reaction to rebels mistaking a plane for an An-26 quite a bit disproportionate, compared to that. But I guess it only matters since Westerners died? It's hilarious because just a week ago in one of the Ukraine threads someone apologized for the military shelling of Eastern cities because it was a 'warzone'.
42 pro-Russian separatists killed? The ones who were incinerated in that building you mean? Yeah, I don't give a shit about them, considering they were rebels. I give a shit about a neutral airliner being shot down by said rebels however and killing 295 innocent passengers and crew members though. For obvious reasons. Why are you such a kissass for the Russians and the rebels for that matter? And Eastern Ukraine IS a warzone. There is literally nobody with any common sense who is on your side in this crisis.

I am pro-Ukrainian in this conflict but there's good and bad people on both sides.
Don't worry about the people suffering, they didn't. Before they could understand what's going on, they were already dead.
I gave you a nice rainbow because that's the most optimistic scenario. Chances are they got hit, a vast majority of them were conscious for some thirty seconds to a minute, and then they lost consciousness. More than likely a few unlucky souls who were built of tougher stuff stayed awake for the whole trip down still strapped to their goddamn seats. I say this because of the missile most likely used to strike the aircraft, those aren't kinetic kill vehicles so there wouldn't have been an explosion inside the cabin. Explosive decompression hardly ever causes people to pass out immediately, and some may have actually came-to as they were falling. That's why this shit is so fucking terrible. Whoever sent that missile just killed 295 people in a nice cacophony of horrible ways. I sincerely hope that Russia turns on the rebels for this and the EU and US actually step up their rhetoric, because this is so goddamn far over the line it's in fucking Narnia.

I mean for fucks sake man, you want to bring up something in which so many different people were at fault to compare to this situation is fucking bogus as all hell. You say "Well they didn't stop the Nationalists" when they're trying to rescue the people they're ideologically against.

Every thread. This thread started off different and was following a single linear track, but suddenly, when Conscript arrived it amounted to victim blaming. I get it. Conscript has his own opinion, and he can have it. However, I am and I'm going to allow myself (although I'm pulling back because it was a mistake and I did go too far) to get mad. It's okay to present a side of the argument you want, but coming in, giving daps and bringing up other things is not how a debate can be done. I sincerely do apologize for flying off the handle, it wasn't 'professional' so to speak.
Aren't they losing the fight in the East?
If you're talking about the Ukrainian military they've been kicking ass so far. Seperatists are losing pretty bad.
I guess no one thought they would be hit at that height. There has been a no-fly zone over the area, but it doesn't extend to cruising altitude (From Al Jazeera stream)
At cruise altitude planes aren't at threat from MANPADs (only during landing / take off / holding) which is probably why they kept flying over. The threat is only there if a proper SAM system is in use.
Suddenly FP is full of armchair generals and Aviation experts.
That says flight M16 arriving into the Netherlands?
They arrived AMS on the 9M-MRA on 2014-07-15 16:25:02. Because you cant work for 2+ days straight, they'll stay there and work on the next plane back to KUL. Which is the 9M-MRD.
Suddenly FP is full of armchair generals and Aviation experts.
great insight it all makes sense now
Suddenly FP is full of armchair generals and Aviation experts.
I'm sure all of our dads work for the FAA or Malaysian Airlines.
What a nice combo
It's confusing as all fuck. How he didn't fight himself like Jim Carry is a wonder honestly.

Causing so many people to die.
