Why would anyone shoot down a commercial airplane! This is Murder!
Lots of reasons, the most obvious being to act as an agent provocateur.
I'm really angry right now, such pointless, unnecessary deaths
who the fuck shoots down a passenger plane
I bet that it was just Russians thinking it was a military plane and shot it down for obvious reasons. Now they are probably trying to get a blame game going on.
*snip*
Malaysian airlines just tweeted that one of their planes is missing. Something about that is funny to me for some reason.
ukraiinian tv just confirmed it was shot down from russian territory
Of course they would 'confirm' that. Thats some unadulterated propaganda.
Nu.nl says that it is not comfirmed
Wasn't NU.nl,it was BN de Stem actually

Title = ''Airplane Malaysia Airlines from Amsterdamn shot down and crashed (?)''
Russia carried out the full investigation and report, and still refuses to give any third parties access to the wreckage....
That's not definitive proof of anything, and it's not even true. Poland participated in the investigation.
Do you have actual proof it was shot down?
Fuck. Apparently the Ukrainian Ministry is saying that Ukrainian pro-Russia separatist are behind the shooting down of the aircraft.
16:50: An advisor to the Ukrainian interior minister, Anton Gerashenko, says the plane was flying at an altitude of 10,000 metres (33,000 feet) when it was "hit by a missile fired from a Buk launcher", in a post on his Facebook page, according to the Associated Press.
16:50: The Associated Press says one of its journalists saw a similar launcher near the eastern Ukrainian town of Snizhe earlier on Thursday.
Uh oh
Fuck. Apparently the Ukrainian Ministry is saying that Ukrainian pro-Russia separatist are behind the shooting down of the aircraft.
There are photos of Separatists having SAMs, so my best bet they shot it down.
Uh oh
Googled what a Buk launcher was.

A Russian millitary vehicle. Doesn't sound good.
Edit: Ukraine millitary has these as well apparently.
i don't know why i'm watching fox news but i swear to god the design of all the titles and text with all the dropshadow makes it look like it's some crazy 3d 1990s design

Ukrainian news reported a Buk missile launcher system in the area earlier today. Also, another Ukrainian plane was shot down there as well
Of course they would 'confirm' that. Thats some unadulterated propaganda.
the aircraft was flying at 10KM, thats over twice out of the range of any MANPAD systems that Ukraine, or the rebels for that matter have
Russia has already shot down one airplane on Ukrainian territory from within its own territory with SAM systems, and apparently there was visual confirmation from some radar
I'm watching Channel 5 atm

You dont just think it was a millitary plane. It was broadcasting adsb packets with information about the plane such as its alitude and that its a commerical passgener aircraft. You have got to be seriously idoitic to ignore that and not to at least hail it before shooting.

Sky News has this problem too, it looks unprofessional and dated
Watch as UKR army blames separatists and they blame UKR army. It's already happening.
Watching Bloomberg and RT and its a bunch of bs.

Loads of people use that, the range (30km) isn't sufficient to reach from Russia to past Poltava (230km+)
I doubt its still in service in Russia. They would use s400.
By saying its a BUK hes totally ruled Russia out.
Then theres motive, there would be loads of planes over Ukraine, some closer than that one. Why target one so deep in Ukraine. There is no reason what so ever for Russia to risk shooting down a civilian plane, so deep in Ukrainian territory. Russia would also have the technology and information to identify that plane as civilian.
Any source which 'confirms' it as russia is blatent propaganda.
This doesn't rule out the rebels.
edit: why is this getting disagreed with? I've stated quantifiable evidence that Russia could not have used the stated weapon system to shoot down the plane.
Is there some fact which proves otherwise?
Sounding like the Buk is being confirmed more and more.
ukraiinian tv just confirmed it was shot down from russian territory
No chance of bias there.
No siree.
This is kind of inappropriate so I'll just link it https://i.imgur.com/O1yeZkE.png
i'm thinking that it could possibly be a false-flag situation
not saying that it definitely is, but i wouldn't be surprised
russia blames it on ukraine, putin uses it as an excuse to push into ukraine

Apparently it's still used though.
Any word on the Black Box? I hope they find it soon.
Just take the S out.
...which is literally what I did.
Malaysia's Minister of Defence says no confirmation it was shot down

Ukraine would also use s-300. Also, Ukraine wouldn't use AA because they know the separatists don't have planes
If it was shot down, this could turn into a modern-day Lusitania.

Lots of things are possible. In situations like this, it is of utmost importance to make a conclusion based on evidence, and I haven't seen a source with good evidence of anything yet, other than the plane going missing.
