god you are as bad as those people who hope people get raped or stabbed in prison.
getting beaten up in a mutually-agreed to fight with rules & boundaries is the same as hoping someone gets stabbed or raped????? is that what you're saying? when i hoped ronda roussey would kick misha tates ass in the ufc was that the same as hoping she got raped & stabbed?
rofl i literally never saw this "media response" from any major media outlet
must not have watched any of fox news shit or seen any of the threads posted here about him being a thug etc
[editline]3rd February 2014[/editline]
but that happened after the whole thing. it's safe to say the incident, as well as the media shitstorm had an effect on zimmerman (this is where you say "it had an effect on trayvon too he's 6 ft under")
but slamming someone's head against concrete is grounds for self-defense
yeah maybe, i mean zimmerman was found innocent so whatever i guess under those ridiculous stand your ground laws he was innocent.
Most people don't argue the self-defense wasn't justified, just that Zimmerman should have been held in some way accountable for the wrongful death by instigating the situation in the first place. I don't think he should be charged with murder but playing cop and someone dying as a result should definitely be grounds for some form of punishment. I also think it's naive as hell to believe Trayvon would have outran Zimmerman, then turned around and confronted him for no reason, then started a physical confrontation immediately with no further instigation.
yeah maybe, i mean zimmerman was found innocent so whatever i guess under those ridiculous stand your ground laws he was innocent.
yeah man calling someone a psycho and hoping he gets his ass kicked because you think he did something wrong (and im not saying he didnt do anything wrong) is comparable to those people who say that rapists should be raped, or the people who thought it was okay that the guy who stole oil got his legs broken just because he stole. You are wishing harm on someone for something they did and thats not okay
i thought the stand your ground laws had nothing to do with it?
i thought stand your ground was like, the center of it? well whatever, i still think it's wrong that you can start a scrap with someone, then shoot them when you start losing. because no matter what you can't say zimmerman didn't instigate the fight with his vigilante hard on

this i can agree with

not this though. i mean, it's not naive to think that you might be able to take on a short, chubby guy who's been following you. people start fights for all sorts of reasons, why wouldn't that be a possibility?

i heard it had nothing to do with it because of the way that law works in florida or something, but i may be wrong

ohhh so when i wanted jon jones to kick chael sonnens ass for talking so much shit before their fight it was the same as wanting someone to get raped or stabbed? learn the difference between a consensual, mutual fight with rules & boundaries and a non-consensual fucking rape & attempted murder
Most people don't argue the self-defense wasn't justified, just that Zimmerman should have been held in some way accountable for the wrongful death by instigating the situation in the first place. Well, it all depends on how you look at it. If he was playing cop, then yes, because then he would be playing vigilante. But it's not hard to believe someone would call the cops when they see someone suspicious, then try to keep sight of them so they can tell the cops more accurately where they are. People tend to think that zimmerman charged after him with his gun out, when in reality there is no evidence to prove that point. Too many people base their anger and opinions on their own prejudices instead of on the actual evidence, and actual evidence alone. That's why you see so many people on both extremes.
yeah i'll agree with you here, i think alot of people's reaction to some weirdo (who doesn't look scary/stronger than them) would be to confront them rather than running

it's a possibility but it's all heresay. The only two witnesses to the events are either dead or have a vested interest in making themselves look like the good guy. Based on his phone call, he was freaked out about being followed and ran. Okay, so if Zimmerman indeed stopped the chase, why turn around when it became apparent you were no longer being followed? Why can we just assume he was aching to start a fight? That just doesn't sit right with me. Occam's razor and all that.
Also he probably had no idea what Zimmerman looked like being in a truck the whole time in the dead of night.
yeah i'll agree with you here, i think alot of people's reaction to some weirdo (who doesn't look scary/stronger than them) would be to confront them rather than running
most people don't have behavioral issues at school

Here's the thing though, "suspicious" meant "being black at the wrong place wrong time". Nothing Trayvon was doing was actually suspicious at all.

Yeah its not like you rated the post about DMX breaking every rule in boxing just to hurt Zimmerman and wanting to piss on his face Winner or anything?
oh
wait

its painfully obvious you have some revenge thing against Zimmerman going on, and its kinda sickening

yeah because it's not like that's just shit talking. he would SO be allowed to do that in a boxing match. i guess the posts where people said they hope zimmerman beats the game or dmx are also just as bad as wanting someone to get raped or stabbed right?

well he did get a good look at him later on. who knows if he didn't think "i can take on this guy" after seeing zimmerman close up? again, it's all speculation. but what's not speculation is the fact that trayvon was much taller and more physically capable than zimmerman
yeah because it's not like that's just shit talking. he would SO be allowed to do that in a boxing match. i guess the posts where people said they hope zimmerman beats the game or dmx are also just as bad as wanting someone to get raped or stabbed right?
youre doing an A+ job of twisting my words, im saying that it isnt cool want severe bodily harm to come to someone for a past crime, and from what youve been posting, it really seems that you want zimmerman to really get hurt because of what happened to Martin
No
No he wouldn't
that's the point

i'm doing an a+ job of twisting your words lmao? did the guy who just said i am as bad as people who wish rape & stabbings on people just accuse me of twisting his words? lol
[editline]3rd February 2014[/editline]
i want to see him get his ass kicked because i don't like him or the things he's done. most times when i watch boxing or UFC i want to watch someone get their ass kicked because i like combat sports. obviously i don't want him beaten to death or anything like that i want him beaten within the constraints of the sport but i guess i and every other boxing/ufc fan just want to see people get raped and stabbed

But that's exactly what happened. Zimmerman lost Martin, so Zimmerman started back to his truck when Martin confronted him. Which is confirmed by his last phone call from Martin's girlfriend:
[Rachel] Jeantel testified that as he neared the home of his father's girlfriend, Martin tried to lose Zimmerman.
"And then he said, 'That N-word is still following me now,'" said Jeantel. "I asked him how the man looked like. He just told me the man looked 'creepy.' 'Creepy, white' -- excuse my language -- 'cracker. Creepy [expletive] cracker."
Jeantel says she heard Martin talking to Zimmerman in the background of the call.
"He said, 'Why are you following me for?' And I heard a hard-breathing man say, 'What you doing around here?'" said Jeantel.
Jeantel also said she heard a bump from Martin's headset hitting something and "wet grass sounds."
I wouldn't really be surprised if he was seriously hurt or even killed considering how polarized this whole case is. He's really putting himself in danger for a good cause and thats pretty heroic.

44 fatalities in one of the biggest sports in the world (and one that involves 2 people wailing on each other for a long time). i just think it's fucking stupid to call this heroic but i guess that's the real reason he's doing it
