So nothing substantial or relevant and the only thing even close isn't credible? Good job sunshine.
I am trying to keep these relevant to our century, there was so much backstabbing and plotting before the 1800s that Im not going to bother giving you a history lesson about things before then. All I am trying to say NoDachi, is that it isn't utterly impossible or unheard of to have the first report of a death be an incorrect one. The examples I gave may not all of been a perfect one to one precedent for this story, but the core idea remains the same: People lie, official stories are fallible. -General Petraeus gives insight onto a what he thinks is a murder but was classified a suicide: here Now go ahead and patronize me some more.
You're either incredibly fucking stupid or incredibly fucking good at trolling. People in the military commit suicide ALL the fucking time, regardless of their rank.
When the last time you heard of someone from a Navy SEAL team or Army Special Forces commit suicide. Cause honestly this is the first time I'm hearing of it.
Again he's a commanding officer, if he would have had issues it would have been notified and he would have been checked. If someone is in a state of taking his own life, you would notice.
Uh no that's how people kill themselves "I never thought he would have done this" "He was so happy all the time" That's always what the family says. People can hide their problems you know.

I just thought you had something concrete. I just think its abhorrent that people brush under the carpet genuine suffering people have inflicted upon them and would much rather fantasize about hairbrained conspiracy theories based on absolutely nothing rather than recognise the real tragedy here. EDIT: Fucking hell did you even read your own link?
When the last time you heard of someone from a Navy SEAL team or Army Special Forces commit suicide. Cause honestly this is the first time I'm hearing of it.
Dude, I was stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky. It happens alot more than you think.
These men are trained to withstand nearly everything that can be thrown at them, and hes a leader.
Do you even comprehend the shit SEAL operators see? Especially a team commander who maybe had squad members die under his command. Shut the fuck up, you're digging yourself into a hole.
Suicide is the ultimate selfish act.
Exactly, you should suffer for my amusement you selfish prick.
Again he's a commanding officer, if he would have had issues it would have been notified and he would have been checked. If someone is in a state of taking his own life, you would notice.
They're not fucking robots, they are humans and no matter how much you're trained, most if not all soldiers eventually will be stressed and traumatized by their experiences
Watch The Caine Mutiny for a good, if fictional, example of how combat can affect a commander. A lot of times the guys under him will cover for him out of duty and loyalty. Sometimes no one on the outside will even have a clue what's going on.
As SEAL commander, this guy could have seen some real terrifying shit that pushed him over the edge. Or maybe his suicide is unrelated to his position; maybe he was just suffering from severe depression. Who knows? His death is still under investigation.
How does it feel to have an IQ of a carrot?
I wouldn't give him that much credit, more like a highly functioning potato.
The (probable) reason behind the suicides is mostly because they do not believe in their cause and think of themselves as doing the wrong thing. Eventually some of them cant live with the blood of the innocent on their hands and commit suicide. Or saying it from another angle, morale is low. Ofcourse this might not be the sole reason, others just break down as they cant handle the stress and being in constant fear of the enemy (and no way to get out - quitting would be a disgrace).
Exactly, you should suffer for my amusement you selfish prick.
Gotta love all these people that completely misunderstood it. Think of his wife, think of his children, etc. For example listen to this:
When is the US supposed to pull out of Afghanistan again?
When is the US supposed to pull out of Afghanistan again?
End of 2014 I think.
These men are trained to withstand nearly everything that can be thrown at them, and hes a leader.
This is the kind of thinking that puts every soldier in our armed forces at risk of serious mental health issues.
That's surprising considering he had a wife and kids. everyone is different I guess :(
Military suicides happen regardless of rank or position. A soldier at my FOB shot himself in the head in a latrine a few meters away from me, because his home life and financial situation had gone to shit. An E-7 jumped out of a 4 story window in Korea recently, for as yet unknown reasons. It is a very serious problem, and anything that can be done to remove the stigma against getting help, and also providing services for these troubled individuals needs to happen.
