Yes clearly because Warren isn't involved means the game is instantly terrible.
oh my god my obligatory angry seriously doesn't cloud my judgment but it sure does yours.
what i was saying is that whoever the fuck is making the game isn't stating this release date, EB GAMES is. and game retailers, most retailers for that matter are pretty bad about releasing false release dates to get more people to preorder. think about it, they have total control over the local market mostly, they can make it seem with past releases that they don't get enough copies in ever for release dates (basically they order less than the expected needed amount so when you come around to pick up without a pre order they can only say that the giant pile of games on the table behind the desk are preordered), and then get you to commit to buying a game by putting down money i'm pretty sure you can't take back (don't get me started on the dipshits who put more than the minimum down on a preorder) and if you don't pick up your preorder they keep your 5 dollars.
can't you see this whole preorder thing is just a ploy? especially with a game that will most likely not sell well? what deus ex 3 is, is not what's hot right now. what's hot in gaming are call of duty and battlefield rip offs and shit, and fucking halo. the main video game consumer these days are just so mainstream and tunnel visioned that they probably won't even notice deus ex 3 because the first game was complicated as fuck compared to halo 3 or some shit. i'm not trying to get in an argument here, i'm a total deus ex-ophile myself but we have to be realistic about this. but you can't assume because someone plays video games that they are "one of us" and even then if they have good taste. i'm pretty sure there's some proof somewhere that complicated games without multiplayer don't sell as well as simple games with large multiplayer support for that douche bag college kid in all of us.
i live in a pretty heavily populated area myself and the only time they ran out on the first day i had preordered it anyways (halo 2, biggest fucking release ever, i remember everyone was fucking talking about it, and when i went into the store they had a large folding table stacked around 6 feet high with copies of the various editions at the time. i have never seen that since)

I've said quite frequently on the megathread that I know this won't sell well. I'm pre-ordering because I have faith in its quality and I want to have it ASAP. I don't care about the pre-order codes they are optional use and I will give them to someone in the megathread the minute I get my hands on them.
How do I pronounce the name? Don't want to sound silly when I ask for it at the shop.

Dew-ss Ecks.
But I pronounce it Day-us Ecks for some reason.
it's actually day-us then the letter X
and you still don't realize pre orders are as corporately phoney as mother and father's day. it's not about the developer at all in this case, it's all about the retailer.

Yeah I think thats pretty obvious. The pre-order bonuses I don't care about I just want a guaranteed delivery date on a product I really really want. Whats wrong with that? Its not like any stores near me sell PC games anymore. Especially special editions.
