Blaming her for being at the protest is dumb. But, of course, I don't know the details, this is one side of the story, and if it's true it's a terrible and sad thing. I guess I'm just a little apprehensive to believe this especially since it seems all too convenient. She went to the doctor afterwards and they said that the baby was fine, but later it wasn't? And they can't get a hold of the documents to prove that what happened at the protest caused the miscarriage? I'm not saying that she killed the baby obviously, but it could have died because of some other reason. She was homeless, so it's possible she could be malnourished, lack proper vitamins, etc, and that could have caused the miscarriage. The whole fact that the name of the baby was supposed to be "Miracle" just kind of puts me off for some reason. I just can't help but feel that they might be leveraging this as a way to gain support for the movement and get exposure.

Entirely possible, but I've been finding such cynical thoughts are far too brilliant for the idiots people against OWS claim them to be.

If they know which cop did it. But they get away with it by claiming it was necessary and usually they over-exaggerate their story to escape possible charges.

They go to their superiors, who I might add are also cops.
