So when is the patch coming out? I don't really want to get this game until they do, since there is still hope that another PC treasure, Battlefield 3, might not be so consolized. Not that Crysis 2 became too consolized, it's just that they better fix it a bit with a patch.

This has probably been said before, but is there a way to 'unlock' the console on PC version? Before you go. "NAG NAG Y ARE U CHEETING IT RUINZ DA HGAME" I already beat the game and I want to try and fuck around with cheats like I did in Crysis 1. Anyway, Crytek restricted the console and even -devmode/-DEVMODE on the shortcut wont get con_restricted to work. Putting it in system.cfg wont help either. Anyone know what to do? (I'd post this in the Crysis 2 megathread thingeh, but it's closed and I can't find a v2 anywhere.)

I want a box copy of this game since I have a boxed one for Crysis 1.

To the people saying we don't need advanced graphics options: you're wrong. My PC can run Crysis 2 just fine with everything on highest settings as long as the Post Processing is set to medium, but if I set it to High it "lags" slightly.

[editline]28th March 2011[/editline] Though since the textures are lower res in Crysis 2, that doesn't happen.

They were focusing on the bokeh, amazing to see it in a game and look fantastic. Playing on Gamer, just about runs on my 2010 MBP. So much fun to play, but less replayable compared to Crysis 1's early levels because you can't just flank way around and enter a base from the back. I don't mind though, more focused and still has plenty of routes for moving around in. The AI is very good and the gunplay is much better than Crysis 1 so shooting doods is more fun. What lets it down is when the AI has derp moments, the odd time they would stand still for ages beside a dead body and keep saying AREA CLEAR. Its little niggles like that which can weaken the fun.
