My parents deny the landings pretty firmly, and I can't for the life of me understand why.
There's too much evidence to make anything but the most convoluted of scenarios possible, it's just too straight-forward. We stuck some men in a tin can, put it on top of a rocket, and pointed it at the moon.
But apparently the Bush administration's NASA saying "We've got to redevelop our lunar tech if we want to go back," is them saying that we never went, despite it being far more logical that the Apollo craft wouldn't pass any of the modern crew-carrying craft safety regulations. The moon landing was an iffy thing back then, we had no idea we'd even get these men back. We almost didn't. NASA wouldn't allow that sort of insane thinking today, that's why we haven't gone back.
Not any of this Hollywood conspiracy bullshit. I can't stand it.
(My parents don't stop at that... No, they're Birthers, Impeachers, Antichristers, everything. Just can't stand the thought of a black, liberal president. Kind of makes me sick, honestly, the amount of vile and racist drivel they take as truth. I'm no great fan of Obama myself, but at least I realize he's only human.)
It's sad that people don't beleive that mere men can do great titanic things, simply because we will it. No instead it has to be faked, there has to be Aliens, it has to be mole men or eldritch things.
