This makes me wonder why I wore just a long sleeve to campus today. I'm pretty used to the cold by now
10 day weekend. Holy fuck.
Where? In CT we have a little more than 5 feet on the ground and I haven't had a snow day since last week
Here in Upstate(southern) NY its been in the negatives in the morning and at night and single digits in the afternoon and random wind which makes it even worse, it was much better today though.
CT here, tons of snow lately, and thankfully I only had to shovel the first two times it snowed which was still a shitload of shoveling, snow was almost level with the hood of the cars in our driveway.
Luckily our neighbor saw us plebs with our shovels a week ago and brought over his snowblower and did an hour's work in 3 minutes. Fuck shoveling, we're getting a snowblower next year.
It's been in the negatives here in WNY for close to 2 weeks now.
See? global warming doesn't exist!
The sad thing is, there are people that actually think this way.
I have to walk home everyday after college. Each walk is at least 20 minutes. Yesterday my parents were nice enough to give me a ride home before it got worse. Now I have to walk home later than usual because I have a club that I go to. This is gonna suck.
This is bullshit, we're getting extreme cold warnings like every two days now as the temperature drops to -40C with the wind chill.
-21 here in toronto today.
My car barely starts at all and it hasn't been cleaned in 3 months.
Fuck right off winter.

I was somewhat in the same boat. Was around -4 here. Eventually got my car to start but the doors wouldn't close. Had an interview in 15 minutes so me and my sis had to tie rope to the door to the other side of the car so it wouldn't swing open. Every turn I could hear the outside, scared the shit out of me.
Worst part? This has happened before. Held the door on my way to an old job. Winter used to be cool :c
Day 2 Of negative degree weather.
The weather reading in my car couldnt go below zero
So it kept bouncing between 0 and ERROR rapidly while i drove.
It was -10 at one point last night.
ITS -10 DEGREES IN TOWSON
-10 FUCKIN DEGREES
CANCEL ALL CLASSES PLEASE
Something tells me the climates globally are pretty broken these days.
If I remember right, temperatures should be around 35-39 degrees (F) here at this time, yet this shows up.

Can't complain though, but still it's strange.
Yeah, this isn't normal. Wtf North America, get your shit together.
The snow keeps piling up in Massachusetts.

I've already had to pour boiling water on my car doors this winter just to get them open!
At one point my car was buried in 2 inches of solid ice all over.
I WAS LIVID.:suicide:
Florida has no business being this cold.
I'm in the wasteland once known as Key West, Florida. Its been little more than a day, but the cold keeps us locked in our homes, I fear for my fate as the howling 60 degree fahrenheit winds carry the wails of the homeless to my ears... My family and I are slowly consuming our several weeks worth of food and water, and it has been several minutes since i had last seen the sun. Oh gods, what have we done to deserve such a fate?
Belleville, Ontario. -15C with a windchill pushing -24, and the vents have yet to switch to heaters (Just the fans running atm). Yup, it's definitely winter here.
we have the weirdest weather here right now, and it's pissing everyone off
one day it's -10 and it's all fine, but the next day it's +5 and raining
with that shit going on every other day, there's always clear ice everywhere
My Uni should've closed on Weds like they did for Mon/Tues, yet this was their token that they care for their students in frozen 2 inch thick ice sheets on the roads/sidewalks:

Some staff person from my college mass-emailed everyone telling them not to slip and fall. We didn't even get a sign.
massachusetts pls get warmer, this isn't okay.
Baseboard heating just froze up. Fuuuuuuuck.
Yay Maryland!
Love using a woodstove rather than a furnace during the winter. My house and I always smell like a campfire, but there's no issue keeping my house nice and toasty on cold nights like this.

My family used to own and use a pellet stove during the winter, a ton of pellets would go for about $200. Kept the house really warm and only smelled when you opened the door.
