Of all the ways to die, falling and probably breaking your leg(s) and then getting mauled by a pack of dogs is a pretty shitty way to go. African wild dogs are pretty nasty, a lot of people don't realize just how savage dogs can be since we're accustomed to domesticated, mellowed animals. Have to wonder what the mother was doing at the time that the kid managed to get in.

I'd like to really know where his mother was, no parent would let their child fall that high unless he somehow went out of her reach and she couldn't find him but still

If there were no witnesses then obviously the mom threw him in there. Three year olds can climb stuff, but to do this in a zoo requires a complete lack of supervision on the part of the adult with the kid. Either way it amounts to the same thing in my opinion, the mom is responsible for the kid's death.

I mean, it happens to make shit jokes about a terrible thing, even to friends offline. As long as you don't go to the kid's parents and ask them if their son like pancakes because he kinda looks like one now that he has been hit by a truck, it's normal and fine. We tend to make reality a less depressing place by laughing at stuff.

I go to this zoo. The exhibit I thought had a big cage around the observation area but its been a while since I've been there. The local news here just said his mother was holding him up on top of the railing to look down at them. Don't see how she thought that was a good idea...
