122 degrees: Palm Springs breaks record — and it could get hotter

LA County can be hot... Thnk god it's cooling down like 5 degrees at least.
Dry heat at 122F is a killer, don't miss living in Texas due to the horribly dry and hot summers. It's been pretty hot here in the gulf coast though, 90F and high humidity is not fun.
Only 95 in a sauna? I figured they went higher than that. 95 is an average summer day in my neck of the woods.
I wrote it badly. Outside I've felt 95f. I've sat in a sauna at 80C/176F

lol You're playing in the mountains to the left of where I live :v:
And another good laugh if I actually saw you guys, I'd probably think some VDV parachuted into the mountains or something :v:
Haha I'm moving near Palm Springs soon.
LA is fine, it's a coastal city. It's the other 81,000 square miles that are shit.
Depends, LA is high desert for the most part so if you go on certain freeways to get to adjacent cities, you'll come through patches of high desert despite being near the coast. Camp Pendleton is a great example, mountainous high desert with the ocean a couple hundred meters away
