Woman posts picture of her baby with a bong on Facebook, cops aren't amused

That is the one of dumbest things to post on facebook, even if its harmless. You could easily lose your job and obviously your parenting rights. The people who defend this retarded act just want to "prove" drugs are harmless, and the police is out to get everyone.

Putting it on facebook was stupid; Having her kid even touch it was stupid.
However
Drugs are harmless when done responsibly.
And the police in Florida -are- out to get everyone. The system is so fucked that they can afford new mustangs for backwater towns to catch people speeding.

I'm of the opinion that weed is pretty much harmless, but I wouldn't even think of putting my pieces on Facebook/anywhere else.

The fuck are you smoking.
Oh shit pun.
the face censorship does nothing

and bongs arent even illigal, and there isnt any way to prove that there was anything in there at the time, maybe blood tests on the baby and parents for drugs?
Wow what the fuck, the mom didn't even do anything wrong. It's not like the baby was going to break the glass bong and slit his own throat with it. God damn.
My mum had me a month after she turned 18 and I turned out fine. She wasn't the best parent either but I ended up with a good life and anyway all parents make mistakes no matter how old they are. I know some people who are in their 30-40's and they're not the best at parenting either. So yeah it was dumb of her to post that picture but she thought it was funny and probably cute.
If I was her and saw my baby doing that I'd probably take a picture too. Then take it off the kid and put it away.
So it doesn't matter how old someone is when they have kids they'll all make mistakes.
That's great that your parents managed to give you a good life. I still think 19 is too young. Assuming you're going down the college path, a child is going to seriously hamper you throughout college/university. Not only that, but if you're taking classes, working and making enough money to provide for a kid is going to be even more difficult.
Also, I doubt the baby just happened to find that and mess with it. I'd be willing to bet she posed it like that.
When did it become illegal to stick a piece of shaped glass in front of your face?
[editline]10:32PM[/editline]
Oh right, since morals became law.

I'm assuming you know absolutely nothing about marijuana (or drugs in general) and didn't even read the article, which stated that the bong had nothing in it.
The baby's 19-year-old mother claims the pipe didn't have tobacco or drugs in it at the time, and that the boy didn't inhale any smoke. She says she posted the photo online as a joke to show one of her friends.
Then use Email you idiot. Also, bad grammar 19 year old. Yeah should I go on?

Your totally right, let's have our baby/children have a cigar in their mouth and post pictures on facebook! It's ok because they aren't lit!
Why'd they blur the baby's face? All babies look the same.
Your totally right, let's have are baby/children have a cigar in their mouth and post pictures on facebook! It's ok because they aren't lit!
Ignoring the fact that you're being sarcastic: You're absolutely right.

This is why none of you should have children.

A bong isn't the same thing as a cigar. It's a piece of glass. You can put orange juice in a bong if you wanted to.
A cigar has tabacco in it, but if someone wants to stick one in their kid's mouth then go for it.

Are you the kind of person who thinks the ~WAR ON DRUGS~ is morally justified and not a complete waste of lives and resources?
Sticking an unlit cigar or bong in a baby's face doesn't harm anybody or anything, except the feelings of people with fucked up morals.

No, I just think you have to be a incredible dumbass to post that shit on facebook and think it's ok.

No, you have to be delusional and naive to think that it's anything to get worked up about.

Ding ding we have a winner.

Who gave you the authority to declare winners?
After you sir.

Yah, I bet you just look at your friend's facebook of her baby doing this and just smile and not even think about it later.

What?
What?
You high.
You high.
No, I'm just having a hard time deciphering what the fuck it is that you're trying to convey.
The Florida TV station WJXT used Facebook messaging to contact the woman, who lives in Keystone Heights, northwest of Gainsville, and questioned her about the photo.
Well, that explains the lack of grammar. 90% of the the people I talk to on the messaging system don't use grammar at all, so why would they expect it here?
It's a pretty dumb thing to post a picture like that, but I'd like to see how the interviewers message their friends when they aren't on the job before hacking up someone's grammar.

However, they are even more harmless when not done at all. The way I look at it is if you need to resort to drinking/smoking to make a situation more funny or tolerable somewhere down the line, you fucked up. Getting through vanilla life is so much more satisfactory in the long run.

Are you a straight edge Christian kid, or something? Have you ever properly used recreational drugs?

I believe pretty much the same thing, but I don't believe I should tell other people whether or not they can do drugs. If someone wants to do drugs, it's not my business.
I'm not disagreeing with you, because you didn't give an opinion on that, but I'm just saying.
