Developers need to stop using JavaScript. I feel dirty every time I have to fall back to using it.
What. You literally can't do a lot of things aside from animations/styling without JavaScript when it comes to page functionality. How do you think post ratings, quick replies, various buttons/menus (like the ones in the bottom left of my post, or the "more" section at the top of the page) on Facepunch work? Although technically you could have all those without JS, it'd just require loading the entire page all over again and likely more stress on the webserver. And I guess with CSS3 you could do popups/windows, but nonetheless FP uses JavaScript
Firefox 44 was just released to stable, and includes support for brotli. If you can find a site (HTTPS only) that actually implements it, you can test it out. Kinda weird that Google got beat implementing their own compression algo in their own browser, though.
I'm still getting constant spdy protocol errors and have not found a permanent solution so I can't wait for this to not work as intended either.
Usually simple browser updating solves this problem, or try to switch off your antivirus and check then. I used this guidance and the problem was my antivirus (Avast). This glitch is typical for websites with secure connection like Wikipedia, Twitter, Youtube, etc. (User was banned for this post ("Don't bump year old threads.
