Not really, that's American Police. My sister accidentally called 911 once, she panicked and hung up the phone. The Dispatcher was sent a Police Officer over to my house to check up on us.
But despite being in a town that might just barely be a square mile wide, at 1am with no traffic on the roads, it took 15 minutes for the Police Officer to make his way over here.
Erm isn't the number 999?
Are you serious?

It's 000 in Australia.
Australia's emergency service is really shitty. I once dialed 000 for an ambulance since I was near the scene of a car crash(I didn't see it but I did hear it and turned around and saw the end of it). I got asked two or three times to confirm the location I was at. :(
It's the operators. Some of them are fantastic professionals, others are retards who should not be doing the job.
I had some friends who was driving through traffic at breakneck speeds to get away from a guy on god knows what trying to kill them, considering the situation he rather calmly and efficiently explained to the operator, and the operator just told him to drive to the police depot and hanged up on him. Which was something they should NEVER do, they are supposed to stay in contact with the person, otherwise they have no idea where they are, what has happened if the situation changes etc.
Dial 911 next time.
Dial 911 next time.
Are you stupid?
The police can trace these calls, surely they would have just done that.
Dial 911 next time.
police car probably didn't get there because it drove on the left lmao stupid police car
Are you stupid?
I'm just trying to be funny.
Obviously, 911 won't work because it's an American emergency phone number. And I add "next time" even though she's dead, there is no next time when you die.
$160 debt in Fern Tree Gully in Melbourne's east
lol no shit someone was killed there
I lived next to that suburb, and there was a murderer in the street next to mine that chopped up his mother, put her in garbage bags and then collected her benefits for the next five years
you can read about it in the supreme court case files in vic

You are terrible at making jokes.
what the fuck do they not have cell tracers in australia or something
because in the US as long as you can stay on the phone long enough for the operator to run the tracer the cops will get there
Maybe not 5. But 30 minutes or less.
Else the pizza is free.

You watch too much TV :downs: The trace is near instant and you don't have to be on the phone to be able to be traced. They only need your number, and you need to have reception.
can't they triangulate her position?
