Apparently the navy is clearing harbors and preparing to depart ships.
Since the coup is rumoured to be staged by land/air force officials this ought to be a very interesting turn of events.
[sp] if the reports have any truth to them [/sp]
This is a crazy year, wishing all the best to Turkey and it's people.
Hopefully it's Kemalist in origin.

Long story very short: extreme Islamist government, support of ISIS, removed all political opponents, and misuse of money to literally build himself a palace.
[QUOTE=Saxon;50717191]Jeez, couldn't they just use skype and call one of their computers so they can broadcast it on TV properly?

Fighting against corruption is something I'm willing to support, but the way things are going down has me worried for needless bloodshed.

No such thing as a peaceful revolution.
And the issues with Turkey stem far worse than 'corruption'.
There are reports of gunfire.
I can't believe the news today... Make it stop and make it go away...
Hopefully other groups don't start messing up Turkey during this mess however knowing how much of a target Turkey is, well this seems like a golden opportunity to seize the day.
it seems like erdoğan is back in power
Sounded like bad things on that bridge...
