Those protestors on the bridge are absolutely fucking insane. They just stayed there and kept pushing while being shot at for hours.
Looks like they are going to push on to the bridge.
Where's the Turnkey navy in all this? I haven't heard much news from them.
Never thought this'd be the day I'd get to watch a bit of history unfold.
Looks like they are going to push on to the bridge.
nope
Erdogan will now have even more support and reason to carve up this country for himself even more.
From the looks of it and the declarations of some parts, yes, it's failing. Perhaps they were planning the coup or gathering supporters and someone leaked the info to the loyalists and then they preemptively launched the coup.
I bet thats what happened since the police were patrolling the shopping center or something earlier that day. I can't remember the source, but I think it was either posted in this thread or the reddit feed.
Erdogan will now have even more support and reason to carve up this country for himself even more.
That's if the coup fails.
Where's the Turnkey navy in all this? I haven't heard much news from them.
I think they are just clearing the ports and blocking ships into Turkey.
If the coup fail, it will only lead to even more power to the Islamist...
At this point I hope for another party interfering, supporting the coup.
I don't read much news but isn't Erdogan a known ISIS supporter?
That's if the coup fails.
I sure as hell hope it doesn't.
The feed just cut on the bridge, it seems.
The leaders surrendered reportedly.

Well...if that's true....maybe they got the info, acted upon it but other countries might have not believed it.
The feed just cut on the bridge, it seems.
sound overall has been cut as well
I want NATO support. Cmon America. You are the master couper.
everyone complains about the US in the middle east, but when this type of stuff happens people are like "WHERES THE US"
US never supports the right guys.
We can't know who the right guys are. We have no idea what the leaders of the coup really plan.

Obama condemning the coup, "they should support the democratically elected government" or something according to Sky news
The next thing to watch out for is how Erdogan will handle the traitors and how the opposition will react to it. If they execute them or Erdogan gets his way over what the law says, then, well, maybe we're in for some nasty shit (That COULD trigger another answer by the military. Argentina 1987 if you want to know)

Obama being shit as always.
US never supports the right guys.
You and I know this situation is way more complicated than that, man.

uh huh reminded that obama visited this asshole more than anyone else

I'm sure he'll let us know if he finds one
Obama being shit as always.
A support for Erdogan is technically a support for democracy though.
Obama being a useless pos as usual
Obama being shit as always.
How do you think it would look if the POTUS vocally and openly supported a military style coup? Especially in a NATO member country?
really curious why they cut the footage of the bridge, i have a bad feeling about it
