[t]http://puu.sh/q35aX/ad62c8594f.jpg[/t] serious question, i can see this. Why doesn't one of the coup jets just fly across the bay and fuck up the president's jet? It'd save their skin at the very least
Are people here supporting this coup? Seriously? Erdogan might be a cunt, excuse my French, but he was actually democratically-elected in perhaps one of the most free and fair elections in the Middle East/South-East Europe area. Unlike say the electoral fraud that often happens in Russia. Military coups should never be supported, ever. They're just a big 'fuck you' to democracy, and although they often claim to be 'for the people', history has shown that they are anything but that most of the time.
I honestly wondered when this was going to happen. The Turkish military has for a long time been a strongly secular element of the government which help keep the strongly religious within the government in check. With Erdogans hard-line policies ramping up it was only a matter of time before the military or something else took a stand to it.
Unfortunately this is only going to strengthen Erdogan's support.
I like how in this day and age where entities can prove their existence through the advent of cryptography people are relying on authentication/news through unverified sources.
while we are capable right now it has yet to permeate society and become widely used or even known about
I hope military forces keep fighting as long as possible

Oh god explosion in the parliament
The news is reporting that Obama has previously denounced Erdogan and called him a dictator, weird that he's now giving him vocal support. Also

Erdogan is a corrupt fuckwit who is making Turkey help ISIS and get even less secular The day he dies is going to be a good day
I hope military forces keep fighting as long as possible
Yeah because bloodshed of civillians is far better than them just getting executed.
Why the fuck would Erdogan go airborne knowing that Coop forces have access to their F-16s
How Erdogan came this far to power is a question to me. In the Netherlands he shook up comedians who made fun of him, demanded that the Netherlands would properly punish those who laugh at him
2nd explosion in the parliament

Also
He supports the democratic process, not Erdogan. He may be a snake but Erdogan was elected by the people, and a military coup is a direct affront to democracy.
How Erdogan came this far to power is a question to me. He's no saint
Why the fuck would Erdogan go airborne knowing that Coop forces have access to their F-16s
Clearly it isn't an issue seeing as he's yet to been shot down.. Which I don't entirely understand.

Well what we can learn from this is that if you're in the air force and want to have a coup, just don't.
He supports the democratic process, not Erdogan. He may be a snake but Erdogan was elected by the people, and a military coup is a direct affront to democracy.
Democracy kind of becomes a bit pointless if it doesn't protect against oppression.
So.. is it actually over?
Hahah You joking right? Erdogan is a corrupt fuckwit who is making Turkey help ISIS and get even less secular The day he dies is going to be a good day
This is about more than Erdogan. This is about democracy and responsible government in Turkey.
So.. is it actually over?
no it's not
So.. is it actually over?
All sources are from Pro-erdogans so probably not.
