How many times is the media keep going to say the coup "failed"
Potential Civil War with guerilla warfare units or get executed? I don't know mate. Seems unlikely anything will happen.
I think either continuing the war for as long as possible or escaping the country or be executed are their choices

if military leadership has control of turkey, doesn't that mean the coup has succeeded? what?
if military leadership has control of turkey, doesn't that mean the coup has succeeded? what?
Top brass is loyal to government
if military leadership has control of turkey, doesn't that mean the coup has succeeded? what?
Yeah that makes no sense.
if military leadership has control of turkey, doesn't that mean the coup has succeeded? what?
It's weird wording, but it means Turkey controls the military now
Yeah that makes no sense.
I'm also confused by this.

Pretty sure that means the coup was a success..?
It has come to my attention that I have been ninja'd
The military leadership never supported the coup.
I'm also confused by this.
the top senior military officials in turkey are loyal to erdogan, the coup came from mid-ranking troops
Stability isn't necessarily the most important or beneficial thing for a country, though. Stability under an oppressive regime is arguably worse than temporary instability in the process of restructuring a country for a better future.
Which is true, but I'm talking about stability in the form of no potential wildcard which a coup entails. Its' a definitive wild card. Stability is key and it doesn't matter if the status of the country is shit as long as they are able to handle the country with their intelligence and what not.
Turkey having a coup during these times is the worst that could potentially happen for the west and it would create a massive geopolitical nightmare that if we have the choice we'd at all costs try to keep the country the same.
if military leadership has control of turkey, doesn't that mean the coup has succeeded? what?
The actual top brass said the coup is staged by lower ranking elements.
It would be fucking hilarious if erdogan's plane just fucking crashed or had a fault and slammed into the landing strip at a 90 degree angle

How reputable is this source? It just looks like an unaffiliated Twitter page.
It would be fucking hilarious if erdogan's plane just fucking crashed or had a fault and slammed into the landing strip at a 90 degree angle
my money is on a secret doom fortress emerging from the water with a landing strip on it
He's gonna fly that way?
The absolute madman.
How reputable is this source?
They've been spamming pro-erdogan sources for a while. So uhm take it with a grain of salt?
Plane's turned north, toward Ataturk's airport.
Wait, is Erdogan on that plane?
It would be fucking hilarious if erdogan's plane just fucking crashed or had a fault and slammed into the landing strip at a 90 degree angle
Can you just stop wishing violent death on people already?
It would be fucking hilarious if erdogan's plane just fucking crashed or had a fault and slammed into the landing strip at a 90 degree angle
yes, we're all eagerly waiting with bated breath for turkey to plunge into a brutal civil war that could kill and displace millions of innocent people like you are.
It would be fucking hilarious if erdogan's plane just fucking crashed or had a fault and slammed into the landing strip at a 90 degree angle
