Romney is the only Republican candidate that I can see as a potential threat to Obama. The rest of them are way too far to the right to be able to face Obama in a debate without looking even more foolish than they do now.
Still gonna back Paul here. Romney is further right than him, and I know for certain there's things Obama would be called out on by Paul like strengthening the Patriot Act, for starters.
They are desperate and are trying to get a fucking audience as the crazies realize what the fuck these assholes want. Fuck em.
The funny thing is he probably is not anti-gay. He just said he was in Iowa to win over there, and is now changing his viewpoint to something in between for New Hampshire. By the time he wins the Nomination, he will be neutral on the issue, if not pro-gays.
Romney's going to get the nomination and you know it.
I can't see the future and I hope that you can't as well.
We just have to wait and watch as the craziness unfolds.

Theres still 7 months of this shit.

Romney is definitely further left than Paul
He only said that so that NH independents could hear what they want to hear.
FLIP FLOPPER !
Trusted to mean what he says, but if the ideas themselves are not very good, then he's still not very good.
I don't know, I think having a crazy libertarian patriot for president would help balance out having a couple hundred corrupt worthless politicians in the house and senate.
Don't trust anything a politician says.
Look at what they've done.

I just don't like the whole state rights advocacy. It would literally fuck this entire country over.
What might happen with Ron Paul's states rights?
People would lose a lot of their rights in a large section of the country and it would lead to a lot of corruption that would cause massive decline.
I just don't like the whole state rights advocacy. It would literally fuck this entire country over.
I feel like him being a hard core states-righter and strict-constructionalist in the 21st century is kinda hilariously quaint.
Ron paul is also for private rights. So I don't see how would people lose rights, his all for our rights.
Ron paul when elected would give the people more choices.
I'm just saying. Imagine if all the people who didn't know shit about SOPA and yet voted yes on it in the hearings had about a thousand times more power.
Basically why I don't support the concept that a central government should have less power then the states.

It doesn't matter if he's for it if the states can easily pass a law against it.

His entire philosophy is a giant fallacy.

No they can't.

Though I support that the media needs to ask more questions about ron paul on states rights, universal rights and so on. ron paul needs to elaborate more.
I don't get the big hoopla over Ron Paul.
I respect the fact that he goes against the grain, that he really holds his own perspective and he holds that perspective near and dear to himself. Both his perspective and his political demeanor go against the grain.
But I do think his libertarian ideas are off the wall. Giving states more power leads to a less unified United States.

And with people like Perry, it could lead to him trying to expand Texas and shit.
I still think that sexual preference shouldn't even fucking be an issue, it's a goddamn given

The problem is he doesn't recognize the right of same-sex couples to marry or of women to get an abortion. He wants to leave these up to the states. In addition to abolishing the income tax and phasing out social programs, he's not got too many good ideas.
That's Romney's style. Be as ambiguous as possible so everyone thinks they agree with you.
Well, it worked for Obama.

Ron Paul is a libertarian. There's a shitload of libertarians on the internet.
Therefore, Ron Paul is popular on the internet.
Every candidate that sounds the slightest bit reasonable are the ones that are being told what to do.
I thought he was Mormon?
I trust him more than... well, basically anybody from the GOP.
Ron paul? You may disagree with him, but he is the most trustworthy canidate and you know he isnt just going to change his mind. He doesnt take bribes.

It kind of does if you agree with some of the stuff he says actually. If you disagree I don't see how that downplays him being trustworthy.
