• Proposed Virtual Child Porn Law Trucking Along

Remember when the British government discovered Rapelay and all those other Japanese rape games floating around on Amazon, sparking off a wave of indignant protest and angry letters to the Japanese government, causing its sale to get banned not just abroad, but as well as in their own country? I wonder if this crackdown is the result of those same Westerners discovering that Japan doesn't quite share their "moral conviction" about lines on paper, and complaining about it en masse.
Lolicon is disgusting, I'm glad this law is being made.
Lolicon is disgusting, I'm glad this law is being made.
So is scat porn. Justify banning it.
At the end of the day, your fuelling depravity real or not real. Either it's all good, or it's all bad.
Shit, I didn't realize the real world was so black and white. So when G. W. Bush said "If you aren't with us, you are against us.", he was right all along!
Lolicon is disgusting, I'm glad this law is being made.
This sounds the same as what people used to say about homosexuals (and still do occasionally). While I can see the objections to the junior idols and the like I don't see why drawn images should be banned, as others have said, why not ban violent video games and drawn murder then, it's the same thing. Even if it's not your cup of tea (I'll admit I'm not really attracted to it) doesn't mean you should restrict what others can do because you think it's disgusting, when in reality there is no legimate reason for it to be banned, unlike actual child porn.
The Japanese government is doing this for publicity, they sure have earned a lot of criticism and hatred for Lolicon.
I'm genuinely surprised that Australia didn't ban this first.
It was probably banned there before anyone even cared/noticed. (I'm not joking)
I'd still like to see lolicon go away. I don't care if it's real or fake, the principal remains the same. Both are equally wrong, and both should be banned.
Yeah, we need to cut off the balls of those sick perverts who fuck drawn children! Banning artificial media is sick/disgusting/wrong.
Who cares about fapping to murder?
What he meant was that that's just like saying playing video games will make you want to kill real people.
I don't see the point of this, the whole controversy with child porn is that kids are exploited to make it.
I'm genuinely surprised that Australia didn't ban this first.
I think they did, with that ISP blocker of theirs.
I'm genuinely surprised that Australia didn't ban this first.
They actually did: See the "Simpsons Porn" accident, where a guy was jailed for having rule 34 on simpsons saved on his PC.
To put things in perspective, this is like the US banning Football.
create creeps and losers around me
ye
I don't understand laws against drawn porn. I mean, with children, sure it's weird, but the reason child porn is illegal is because it harms the child and negatively affects them in different ways, does this happen to paper as well?
I never did understand laws against drawn child porn. Who gives a fuck what someone drew on paper? That's almost thought police level. I thought the point of legislature against child porn was to protect kids from getting exploited, not to catch thought criminals who think disgusting thoughts on their own time. The difference between owning child porn and owning manga child porn is that buying child porn supports people who exploit real kids, and buying anime child porn supports people who draw pictures. I tend to believe the former is far more serious than the latter...
They use the same logic they did with weed. It's "gateway porn". [editline]04:45PM[/editline]
Fake CP is still just as disgusting as real CP. No excuses for that type of shit anyway, if you like it you should get help.
It keeps pedos from looking at real CP. If drawn is illegal they're just going to go "well, since I'm breaking the law anyway, might as well fap to something real."
To put things in perspective, this is like the US banning Football.
No it isn't. Masturbating to imaginary kids is considered just as gross to the general population in Japan as it is here.
No it isn't. Masturbating to imaginary kids is considered just as gross to the general population in Japan as it is here.
Japanese loli in animes and mangas disagrees.
And then they turn to real CP and masturbate to real children.
Just like how videogames create killers, right Jack?
Japanese loli in animes and mangas disagrees.
Because everybody in Japan enjoys anime and manga, right? The country is famous for being the origin of that kind of thing, but in no way is it widely socially acceptable. They have negative stereotypes tied to people who watch anime and play video games too. "Otaku" is a negative word in Japan. Where did you think it came from?
This sounds the same as what people used to say about homosexuals (and still do occasionally). I guess I let my disgust do the writing for the last post I did instead of actually thinking it through.
I'm genuinely surprised that Australia didn't ban this first.
I thought I heard that Austria banned it ages ago.
japan probably has an extremely low child abuse/porn rate because of the amount of loli garbage they create
Aww crap, what do I fap to now?
I thought I heard that Austria banned it ages ago.
It hasn't been in Austria yet. Unless you meant Australia, in which case your name and avatar fit perfectly :v: Yeah, I looked it up and it actually is banned in Australia. Funny enough, it is also banned in Canada and Sweden.
Aww crap, what do I fap to now?
Real kids.
Aww crap, what do I fap to now?
Normal people porn
[...] it is also banned in Canada and Sweden.
This is one of the few things that make me ashamed to be Swedish, but I'm not surprised. How can the government make something drawn on paper illegal, completely disregarding the laws original purpose just because it disgusts people? For the record; it disgusts me as well, but regardless of the content, it's a serious blow to free speech.
I wish I was born in the 50's or something. The world is becoming a progressively worse place to live. I'm starting to feel like I have absolutely nothing to look forward to in life. There's all of this stuff to be afraid of nowadays, like climate change of any sort without biodiversity to preserve the food supply, and now it seems that the rights of non-existent children are more important than my own right to freedom of speech. This is just fucking great.

Lolicon is disturbing.
I wish I was born in the 50's or something. The world is becoming a progressively worse place to live.
If you're complaining about "Freedom of Speech", the 1950s isn't really the place to be. Unless you'd conform. People who praise the 1950s are mainly drawing from warped nostalgic depictions of that time. As for the original story, I'd imagine the main reason why it's going through is closing up loopholes that child predators use to get out of court cases. The US used to have a problem with this where a number of people got out pedophilia charges in the early years of the internet by saying that the images on their computers were just pixels, computer generated, drawn, etc. Though as far as I know the US hasn't implemented a law against Loli-type things specifically, though I know Sweden has this sort of laws on their books.
Sorry pal, but there is no point in human existence that is peachy and full of rainbows. The 50's had it's problems and shitheaps too. So did the past, and so will the future.
Not saying they didn't. I'm well aware of the hardships people have faced in the past and will continue to face in the future. I was being melodramatic because it's easier to complain that way. I don't have to be reasonable, I can get away with being an idiot sometimes. Besides, there's no rational argument I could have against this so there's no point in being reasonable. Porn depicting minors is socially unacceptable and while this is something I disagree with, there's nothing I can do about it.
Are you really 18?
Yes, but I don't expect you to believe me based on the contents of the posts I've made in this thread.
