Because I can't exactly go and buy all of the next-gen consoles right now because they're all too fucking expensive for what they are, and I'd probably be annoyed about it if I couldn't just wait it out until I either have the extra money to spend or I can buy one second-hand much cheaper.

PS4 expensive? In what world? A $400 system that is strong enough to produce visuals like what The Order 1886 is putting out is a great deal.

If you had put $4 a month away since the PS3 was released you would be able to get it and a few games.

Miyazaki worked on the first Souls game, "Demon Souls", and that's still a Playstation-exclusive to this day.

Was also the greatest RPG on the system as well, until Persona 5 comes out.

I really don't. For instance, Sleeping Dogs looks amazing at night with rain(on my PC at least, I don't know how it looks on consoles), but I'd really honestly prefer a lagless well-done PC port than a visual masterpiece.

Yeah, but shit happens, and PS3s YLOD, and games come out, and more important things require money. I'll wait until 2016 when all the games that are coming out in 2015 are cheap and the console's dropped a couple hundred dollars.

If the PS4 had backwards compatibility, I'd sell my PS3 and go buy one right now. Unfortunately, it doesn't, so I'd really rather not spend the money until it's worth it.

There is PS Now but I'm not sure how it works. I would hope that you could put a ps3 disk in the ps4 and it would grant you access to play the game but I have no idea if it does or will.

There is a difference between "expensive" and "overpriced". gk99 said that PS4 is "too fucking expensive for what it is", which seems to me to be saying that he believes it to be overpriced, which it isn't.

GPU is the most expensive part of the computer. You can get a good [U]gaming[/U] computer at about at most 100$ more than a console, especially if you recycle.

you can even get a good gpu for 100-150.

personally I love every type of game that isn't a simulator / racing / strategy / board game / moba

I really find people that are real negative about anything that isn't specifically a military shooter / fantasy / a moba / indie really annoying.

too bad most games are locked at 30 fps and 720p so it doesn't really count that much

if you can't even go 60fps or 1080p in a game something is wrong.
